First off let me start by saying this is a beautiful property in a really nice setting the front desk employees were great now the issue I had with the property is the cleanliness of the rooms they needed dusting a vacuum to catch all corners where the toenails and food and whatever else gets in the corners the linen on my bed wasn't clean my pillows still smelled of other guests I didn't use them the toilet lever and seat needed to be repaired though most interior is outdated it has potential most people can get past that if the room is clean I say this because I work for a hotel and we could use a renovation so we work extra hard to ensure the room is clean. The other issue is the TV barely gets any channels and a lot of them froze. I hope that this review helps because all the property needs is care.

Key features include:
The hotel is a non-smoking property. While an indoor pool or fitness center is not explicitly mentioned in the provided information, the focus is on providing essential comforts and a quiet environment. The review mentioning issues with the TV signal (barely getting channels, freezing) suggests that while TVs may be present, the entertainment system could benefit from an upgrade to meet modern guest expectations for streaming and channel variety. Despite these points, the underlying structure and quiet nature of the hotel provide a solid base for a pleasant stay.
The Aderi Hotel's promotional appeal largely stems from its competitive pricing and the serene, welcoming atmosphere it offers. Guests who have stayed there back-to-back on weekends, as one reviewer mentioned, indicate that "The prices are accommodating," suggesting good value for the money. The hotel's quiet and peaceful environment is a significant selling point, especially for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle.
The consistent praise for the "incredible" and "nurturing" front desk staff and attentive house cleaners like Loida serves as a powerful word-of-mouth promotion. Positive personal interactions often leave a lasting impression and encourage repeat visits, even in properties that may not have the most modern facilities. The hotel's proximity to a major shopping complex (ShopRite, Starbucks, Costco) adds to its practicality and promotional value, as guests can easily access amenities that enhance their stay.
While explicit discount programs or seasonal offers are not provided in the information, the hotel's overall value proposition, particularly in recovery from potential impacts of the pandemic, is highlighted. The hotel's enduring charm, driven by its location and the dedication of its team, positions it as a hidden gem for travelers seeking a quiet retreat with friendly service along the Connecticut shoreline. Guests are encouraged to check current rates and availability directly or through online travel agencies to find the best deals.
Customer reviews for the Aderi Hotel present a mixed but ultimately hopeful picture. The standout positive aspects are consistently the "beautiful property in a really nice setting" and the "excellent" and "incredible" staff. Reviewers laud the front desk team for being "great," "very welcoming," and possessing a "nurturing attitude," with specific praise for their attentiveness. The personal touch from housekeepers, such as Loida leaving notes, is also highly appreciated, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction. The "excellent" location, with its quiet ambiance and proximity to a walking trail and a shopping complex (Shoprite, Starbucks, Costco), is another significant highlight for many guests, who find it "quite and peaceful" and "accommodating." The pricing is also considered reasonable.
However, the hotel faces significant criticism regarding the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms. Specific issues cited include rooms needing "dusting," "a vacuum to catch all corners where the toenails and food and whatever else gets in the corners," "linen on my bed wasn't clean," and "pillows still smelled of other guests." Mechanical issues such as a "toilet lever and seat needed to be repaired" were also mentioned. The TVs are described as barely getting any channels and freezing, indicating a need for entertainment system upgrades. One reviewer, noting their own experience in the hotel industry, emphasizes that while the "interior is outdated," which "most people can get past," cleanliness is paramount. These critiques suggest that while the property has a strong foundation and excellent staff, consistent and thorough attention to room cleanliness and maintenance is crucial for a universally positive guest experience and for realizing the hotel's full potential.

Mar 23, 2025 · Shonda BrecheenThe location is excellent. I love the drive to the hotel and there’s a Trail on the side closer to a Kindergarten. I usually walk there if I am staying 2 or more days. Me and my husband have lived there back to back on weekends. Go in Friday and leave Sunday. The house cleaners especially Loida she leaves a note wishing you a good stay and hoping you find everything accommodating. The two sisters on the front desk are incredible especially the older one she has the most perfect smile. And listens attentively to your concerns or requests. Because of her naturing attitude and location of the hotel which id quite and peaceful as well as cleanliness I recommend this place. The recovery from the pandemic might make it seem average. But wait and see how it is when u live there and we need more pleasant places like this one. The prices are accommodating. Closer to a shopping complex Shoprite , Starbucks as well as Costco. It’s Beautiful.
Sep 21, 2023 · Valerie StoweWhen I wrote my original review, I was tired and annoyed so this time I'll try to be more constructive. In short, this is a good place to lay your head but don't expect much more than that. There is the saying you get what you pay for but I don't think that's an excuse to not maintain a level of basic service. First, when I got to the room it was extremely hot because they unplugged the air conditioner. This leaves a VERY BAD first impression. It left me with the impression that the room was not prepared for an expected guest. The room didn't need to be freezing but it shouldn't be my first experience to sweat for 20 minutes waiting for the room to cool. I should have been able to enter the room and say "ahhhhh". Next, the fridge didn't work. It was plugged in but not working. When I told the desk, I was told to plug it in. I pointed out that it already was. I was then told to wait a while for it to cool and it never did. Again, this leaves the impression that no checks are done for a room that's being paid for. It's not good. And finally, the room smelt musty. My guess is that it's the carpeting. I don't know but again this is something that management should be on top of. Maybe this is the only room like this but if that's the case it shouldn't be offered to visitors until it's taken care of. This place actually has potential. I stayed near two years earlier and I don't remember any of these problems. I just wish they took more care in accommodating guests and making it feel like a more welcoming experience.
Jul 31, 2023 · Frank ZenMy fiancé and I visited this hotel after having an issue with the original hotel we booked. We didn't have a booking so we came in late Saturday night looking to book for 2 nights. The women at the front desk was extremely accommodating and helpful. The hotel room was extremely clean and so was the bathroom. The price for a 2 night stay was extremely reasonable too. This hotel used to be a Days Inn and it closed down due to the pandemic. Overall, our stay was incredible. 10/10 would stay again! I would also recommend this hotel to others that are visiting the area.
Sep 06, 2023 · Victoria ElizabethGreat customer service! Spoke to a nice man named Mike who was able to help me out when I had a question. Good area and beds are comfortable. Place was clean but towels could be a bit cleaner. Our room originally did not have towels, but we were able to pick them up at front desk. Overall a nice place for what you pay for!
