Best hotel I stayed at great room and amenities. Room cost $2103 Inc tax I had a cheese plate and fridge full of drinks and snacks all included and refills . No hotel I stay at gives you fridge full of drinks . Loved pool and restaurants

It is a shame to pay 3 thousand dollar a night in a place where you are going to be discriminated like this. I will tell you the story of maybe the worst trip ever in my life. I come to New York to a horrible tragedy, a friend of mine lost his complete family by a crazy person that run over his 2 kids and wife. I decide to stay at Aman, when I made my check inn they told me that my card wasn't working for the check inn hold. And here begings everything. This person called Justin Aubin who treated me in the most rude way acting very racist. As I am Mexican she treat me like garbage telling me my card is mexican and it doesn't work, I call my bank in front of her, even my bank talk to her to let her know she had a problem in her system, the bank even told her what problem, she refuse to let me in, the most important thing here is that the room was completly paid (3k us) sice 1 month ago, she didn't care and doesn't allow me in for 300 dollar check inn, I offer cash, you know what she said? Ok give me 1,500 us dollar cash and I responded there is no way an atm gives me 1,200 dollar at once. She told me, "well here in america with my american card I can", she continúes being very racist. And the WORST OF ALL, I told her I have my friend card (remeber the funeral? That friend) I call him (he being in his family funeral) and explain and ask for his card, he send me the picture of the card. This lady heard me called my friend in the funeral I told her where he was, and she told me ask him to fill a format and I double explain the sutuation, that he lost his family and that he can not be able to full the format, that she have the picture of the card, she told me literaly that she doesn't care and that I need the format, I told her that I would be in the hotel that she can receive it during the day, as my room is already paid. She didn't allow me in, 1 hour after my friend was able to send the format and I was in, by the way I try to have a refound also for my night to going another place and she refuse to until 3 days later. Worst experience ever, and also I ordered food at room ask for them to come pick up and they never do, just leave everything messy. It is a shame that something that could be a very nice experience (it cost like it) end being a nightmare because of one employee and the lack of supervising of the manager pf preventing racist and rude people to work IN A FRONT DESK!

📌 OVERVIEW Aman NY is perfect for those expecting quality, service, and privacy. ❤️ HOTEL ROOM The room and hotel itself was thoughtfully curated with attention clearly mapped out from the walls all the way to the sizes of our slippers based on the mere minutes the front desk had with us to determine our sizes. 👀 VIEWS + LOCATION The views speak for itself in this video… located across from Tiffany’s and adjacent to LV, the views are something out of a movie! All in all, thank you Aman, for living up to the hype and exceeding our expectations.

Hotel feels like a sanctuary reprieve from the busy city. Highly highly recommend for a stay in NYC. Immaculate hotel, attention to every small detail is impressive. Rooms are 10/10 from design to technology to bathrooms/products to beds (duxiana). Complimentary minibar has great offerings and their signature Aman cocktails. Restaurant (Arva) exceeded my expectations for lunch/dinner. Breakfast was also 11/10, one of the best and included with your stay. Service is excellent, as would be expected at an Aman. Spa was amazing. Pool is a sanctuary, ambiance/lighting/sound just relaxes you instantly. Really amazing. They have spa rooms which have massive hammams and saunas but you have to rent those by the hour. The sauna/steam in the locker room is nice, but doesn’t match the grandeur of the rest of the spa/hotel. This is the only thing I wish they had as part of the daily spa use (I like to do a quick 20-30 minutes in steam/sauna daily but wouldn’t spend hours in there). I won’t hold it against them since everything else was 10/10. The spa is otherwise amazing and the massage treatment I had was one of the best ever, and I’ve had thousands over the years… Hotel manager Guia is also a gem. She clearly has a genuine care for her guests, which I could feel in my interaction with her. We plan to return for many years to come for our NYC stays.

My least favorite Aman in the world. Staff are inattentive, made numerous errors via email, securing reservations and in communications. Staff heavy but not professional. This hotel is a pass. They should look to train their staff in Europe or Asia.
