Hotel has clean rooms. We stayed at a Superior Queen room. The bed was the smallest queen-sized bed I've had, we measured it and it barely fit the minimum. The heating system was extremely noisy. Our room had no power outlets on the right side of the bed,. I asked for an extension, and the manager sai they didn't have any. Only when I clarified that I requested one because I needed a power outlet on my side of the bed she sent someone to fix that. There are no light switches by the bed, one has to get up to turn them off. The location is excelent, especially if you don't care to be in the middle of the hub-bub of the touristy sites. In the mornings there is a third party service in the lobby where you can buyt some pastries and coffee, but not much else if you enjoy a fuller breakfast.

Clean, quiet rooms, great lobby/business center. Great place to work and stay for my week in NY. The decor was tasteful and complimented my stay. Happy hour drinks from 5 to 7pm with live music did it for me!! Bar service personnel friendly and great drinks.
Mar 01, 2025 · Rose DNot worth the price. - The cleaners came into our room at 9am to clean while we were sleeping even though the check out time is 11am. - The internet connection is so terrible and slow in the lobby I keep getting disconnected and can't do anything. - The receptionist got passive aggressive because I was slightly annoyed their credit card machine didn't work and they couldn't log into their own system which meant it took 15 minutes to check in. At least the doorman is nice but I've had better service from 3-star hotels for half the price. Don't get me started on the $150 deposit or the room HVAC...

The lady on reception was incredibly rude and unhelpful when we asked her to explain the hidden charges and deposit. Even when we asked her for the wifi password (which we thought surely should have been provided when we got to our room) she acted like we were seriously bothering her. If check in staff are this rude and unhelpful to explain these things maybe this hotel should invest in a welcome pack with key information for guests? We couldn't open our blinds from 8am to 5pm due to construction work with builders directly outside our window which wasn't made clear until we saw the sign on reception. The room got cleaned everyday and doormen were friendly. The location was the best part about this hotel.
