If you have breakfast in the morning, it is absolutely fabulous and say hi to Zorimar for me. She will make your breakfast fabulous. The staff was very kind and helped when we needed something in our room fixed. Maintenance came up right away and fixed it. The pool was closed, so that was disappointing. Don't know how long that's gonna take for them to fix. The pool deck did need fixing, so i'm glad they're doing that. The beds were comfortable. Every room has a hairdryer, a dorm size refrigerator. The place was quiet even though we had a conference of over five hundred people. So I was impressed with that. I would recommend this place that was very Accommodating and comfortable.

This hotel is clearly dated. They have no communication with outside booking sites. Waited almost 2 hours to be check in with a reserved room from hotels.com. I was told to contact them to figure out how I could book another room. After finally checking in, we were told that the pool was out of order and the 3rd party site should have specified that, their own site does not specify that… staff and management did not try to offer any convenience for the long wait. The rooms smelled, tub did not hold water without draining completely. Beds were hard. The game room was closed a WHOLE day before an event with no warnings customers. I definitely don’t recommend

We stayed at this establishment on the nights of Friday, April 18, and Saturday, April 19, 2025. Upon returning to our room on Saturday evening, we were surprised to find that our laundry had disappeared after housekeeping had serviced the room. We immediately informed the front desk hostess, who assured us she would take the necessary steps to locate our bag. The next day, we mentioned the situation to the housekeeping staff, who responded in a dry and assertive manner, claiming the bag had not disappeared. Their tone and certainty were both surprising and unsettling. At reception, the staff member on duty was unaware of the situation and contacted the housekeeping manager, who completely denied any possibility of a mistake or misunderstanding, questioning our good faith without the slightest empathy or attempt to understand. Despite our patience and efforts to avoid any conflict, we faced systematic denial from their teams, without any real investigation being carried out. The manager committed to getting back to us by Tuesday, April 22, at the latest. On April 24, I sent them an email, and as of today, April 28, we have still received no response. Thus, not only have we potentially been victims of theft directly from our room, but the total lack of follow-up, compassion, and responsibility on their part is absolutely unacceptable. We once again ask them to contact us as soon as possible and to take this situation seriously. Thank you. Ludivine and Mikael Nicolaï

Best Western Royal Plaza hotel was quite an experience. Group members chose this location due to its proximity to taekwondo competition PROS: - Upon arrival, group members were greeted by the most elite form of entry: a revolving door. -as group members stepped into the establishment, they were flabbergasted by the elegance and poise of the lobby - main lobby was bustling with life, with enthusiastic pinball players plus it had fountain and real plants -Pinball Convention: unbenounced to the travelers, there was a pinball tournament. At first intimidating, group members soon felt welcomed -pool was closed for maintenance, group members view this as a positive because no swimsuits had been packed so they were not sad -fitness room had space to practice sick taekwondo moves once equipment had been moved. Will elaborate more in Cons -breakfast was good, it had protein like eggs for weigh in day and delicious carb options for the next day like french toast sticks -dinner at All Star Bar & Grill was a W. Shoutout to server who gave one group member a very large child's meal. -bar decor: exhibited a unique vibrancy with a variety of clashing decorations (baseball, old school boxing stuff, bicycle/unicycle wall TVs showed CNN, Bob Ross, and unfortunately, a struggling Red Sox game) -concerts: group members were graced by 2 concerts in hotel lobby. The one and only "Blizzard of Ozz" (Ozzy Osbourne tribute) and "Back in Black" (AC/DC tribute) -Room windows opened, no screen, this provided the thrilling experience of tossing stale Panera bread from the sixth floor -Mini Fridge = perfect Chobani yogurt from breakfast bar stash -showers had good temp control -Elevators played pop music CONS: -Group members are TRAUMATIZED by elevator. One ride rattled violently as group members ascended to 6th floor, after this we didn't ride on elevator again. Beyond the terror, it moved painfully slow, with long waits and cramped rides with chatty pinball players. -average rooms at best -leaky sink caused minor bathroom flooding -The toilet weekend with each flush -One group member offended by ceiling due to popcorn texture and cobweb -stain on couch on 6th floor. did a past guest have a bathroom emergency? - fitness room had a generally unpleasant vibe. Elliptical squeaked and the cable tower was rusty and loosely assembled. The bench had a disturbing sweat stain. The medicine balls were oddly shaped, with one cracked - lame arcade- bad prizes, overpriced, and the motorcycle had a windows error message - Group members discovered the stairwell doors were locked from the inside, sparking fire safety concerns. -room door required multiple attempts to secure -bar was a scam -one group member is concerned about dangers of noise induced hearing loss from concert volume -one group member was bothered by a dumpster; he disliked that it was dented and placed in the middle of the road - Rice salt: rice in just one salt shaker. Staff said it reduces moisture, but no other shaker had rice. Group members are skeptical.
