My stay at Canal Loft Hotel was a major disappointment. The constant hassle of malfunctioning keys, twice during my stay, was incredibly frustrating. The shower head's failure added to the inconvenience, making basic hygiene a challenge. The closed lobby at night. The rooms themselves were not what I expected, with visible wear and tear on the walls. The overall experience was far from pleasant and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and reliable stay in Chinatown

This place was stellar. For the affordable price of an nyc hotel, the rooms are just what you need for a short stay and the service was outstanding! I even accidentally left my computer bag behind after checkout and the hotel went above and beyond communicating with me while I struggled with UPS to make sure my stuff was kept safe and eventually returned to me. They wrapped my computer bag very securely which made it safe for all my electronics inside and I am so grateful to their front desk team. Highly recommend The Canal Loft hotel for people looking for an affordable nyc stay with wonderful service!

I had to check out of my previous hotel at 11AM and Canal Loft Hotel check in wasn't until 3pm. I didn't want to lug my bag and bookpack for 4hrs, so I contacted the hotel to see if I can leave my belongings there while I go out and venture the city. They were able to accommodate my request by leaving my belongings behind the front desk. I came back around 9PM to check in and all my belongings were still there, exactly the way I left it. Not only that, but on the day I had to check out. My flight wasn't until 10PM and I REALLY didn't want to lug my bags around for 11 hours, so I asked if I can leave my stuff there for the day and pick it up at night and they were cool about it. For me, their customer service was top notch and I'd stay there again! Thanks Canal Loft Hotel!!!!

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We booked a room and were told it was 2 queen beds and when we arrived it was 2 twin sized bed the tv would not work and was not fixed after multiple complaints the water was not hot and overall the people at the front were very rude and unprofessional. We tried speaking to a manager but were either told they were out or there wasn’t one. We were given no discount or refund and were treated poorly by the staff when we asked for compensation due to the quality of the room. I would never recommend someone stay here and strongly advise against it.

This is a ghetto place, Only one elevator slow as hell Room were smelly, no desk and chairs, no coffee pot, broken floor lamp, headboard is cracked, from 1965. I checked in paid an additional hotel fees of $36 & checked out within few munites, they didn't refund me. I wonder how city of NY allowed this unhealthy hotel to stay in the city.
