The Leon Hotel

Cleanliness: The property was generally clean, the rooms were clean, and the towels were clean as well. Location: The location is close to many subway stations and right in Chinatown. It's quite central and feels safe. Even as a solo traveler, I didn’t have any safety issues even late at night. It’s also within walking distance to Soho. The room I stayed in (Room 302) had an amazing bridge view. The location is really excellent. Hotel Amenities: The bed in the room was very comfortable. The hotel has areas where you can get drinking water and hot water. The WiFi connection was good. The staff was also helpful.

The hotel is in a good location, close to the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridge, as well as close to metro stations. However, the neighbourhood is a bit rough, so be careful late at night. The rooms were cleaned every day, but there was no thorough cleaning, you can see unreachable spots full of dust and dirt. The thing that really disappointed me was the fact that the hotel kept a damage deposit without informing me. The moment I got into my room, money started flying out of my account. It happened twice in a space of 10 minutes, so I froze my card. When I went downstairs to the reception desk to ask what was going on, the receptionist said that he didn't know anything about it. It wasn't until the next morning that I found out from another employee what had happened. It took more than 4 weeks for my money to be returned. Overall, a pleasant stay, but nothing wow.

The guy working the front desk is the man . Had a mix up on booking on my end , but this guy saved the day . Went above and beyond to make sure our trip wasn't ruined . Can't possibly articulate how well this guy is at his job . The rest of the staff was good too . Nice and respectful people all around . Rooms were on point too . Maid doing it right brother . Nice person too . Me and my kids had a friendly interaction with her in the elevator when we were leaving the hotel , and then again when we were coming back to our room . Loved the location too . Perfect all around , would recommend anyone stay here . Mad respect for this hotel , I put that on my momma . ♨️Real Talk💯

A really great place with great service. Our dead bolt was broken and they fixed it the next day. Amazing view and location is perfect for getting around the city. Anyone who complains about the neighborhood probably shouldn’t go to NYC because you are going to encounter crack heads everywhere. The nice thing about being near Chinatown is all the great places to eat till 2am. I’ll stay here again for sure.

It's a basic No-Frills place, don't expect much exciting to be coffee in the morning, that says it's got decent subway access and is in a decent location, And the price is reasonable I guess for downtown New York
