I recently stayed here on a couple's vacation and I overall enjoyed my stay here. The front desk staff were really nice and had great customer service, I loved the decor of the room, and it was very clean! It definitely felt like a nice little luxury experience with the way the rooms were. The only downside that I had to the room was a feature in the bathroom. Unfortunately, The detachable shower head was broken and when the water was coming out of it it squirted mainly from the cord part and not the actual shower head. I highly recommend getting that fixed before the next guests use that room. Also, after taking a shower, a wet spot appeared on the ceiling that turned brownish. Other than that it was very quiet, the AC gets extremely cold which isn't always a bad thing, and the bed was very comfortable. This hotel is literally Central to everything and you can walk almost anywhere from here! We were only like a 7-minute walk from Bourbon Street and a few minutes from each of the restaurants which was very convenient! We also had breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel and the food was great but I was overall disappointed in the service that we received. We went there and were immediately seated, but it took a while for the server to assist us. When the server did finally come to assist us, she didn't have the best attitude and didn't really show great customer service. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Jun 10, 2025 · Dr. Clare GMy wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Tiffany at the front desk was so warm, welcoming and also very accommodating. We needed a later checkout and she did not hesitate to help us out. The rooms were very cute, clean and smelled great. Really nice bathroom/shower. They gave us bottled water at check in and had free water stations on the floors. Very convenient. The food was also very good, we ordered the gumbo for $10 and the portion size was more than we were expecting for the price. The location is also very nice. It is in walking distance to so many things. Bars, shopping, restaurants, theater, Bourbon st, The French Quarter, etc. I will definitely be staying here again and I recommend it for anyone looking to come here.
Apr 12, 2025 · Gabriela & ArmoneeStarting with the positives, the room was beautiful, spacious and very clean. Now on to the negatives… genuinely the worst hotel staff I’ve ever encountered. Like beyond unprofessional. Our room wasn’t ready until 5 pm when our check in time was 2 and we kept coming up to the front desk to ask the staff when the room would be ready. We were met with a nasty attitude and rolled eyes every time. The restaurant staff, the front desk staff and pretty much all the staff we came across (other than the cleaning ladies, they were lovely) were extremely rude and unprofessional . We were treated like an inconvenience our entire stay and given dirty looks. It sucks to have anxiety about going into the lobby of our hotel because the staff are so unwelcoming. The area also wasn’t the best. It’s near bourbon street and it’s very close to everything , but the location was extremely sketchy… especially at night. Definitely didn’t feel safe grabbing my uber eats order at 9pm. But it was close to where I needed to be so I guess it worked out. The food in the restaurant was decent but overpriced. Overall I would look into staying elsewhere .
Jun 06, 2025 · Georgina MarlinShout out to front staff, Lee and DaRell, and bartender Brittany. Lee and DaRell provided top notch service, ensuring needs were met and answering questions. There was a torrential downpour on one night, making it impossible to leave the hotel. Brittany was funny, attentive and makes a serious cocktail. The hotel has taken up the carpet in the rooms (great decision), but hasn't replaced the carpet with any covering of the cement (insert side eye), room temp couldn't be regulated, and there was a cracked window in the bathroom. I would highly recommend not a corner room on the 5th floor. Because of the staff, I would consider this hotel again for a short stay, but only because of the staff, and after confirming that the issues have been resolved. Front staff and bartender 5+, hotel solid 3.
May 13, 2025 · Kathy BThe Canopy is so close to so many attractions in NOLA that we walked mostly everywhere. The staff was amazing and responsive. We had one small issue with not being able to turn off the closet light, but we just shut the door :-). Was slightly disappointed we did have access to the rooftop area. That was one of the amenities that had me book these rooms. Apparently, that is reserved for special events. All the same, our stay was pleasant and the staff was great!
