We had several guests stay at the Holiday Inn recently for a wedding, and it was a great experience! The rooms were clean, the staff was helpful, and everyone had a great time. Our guests especially loved how the hotel was close enough to the French Quarter and the streetcar that they could easily go out and explore the city, but they weren’t so close that it felt noisy and claustrophobic. It was the perfect location! I want to give a special shout out to Tamika Harris, the Director of Guest Services, for being so accommodating with our room requests and so helpful throughout the wedding planning process. I also want to thank Dabrielle at the front desk (whose last name I unfortunately don’t have!) for being so incredibly kind to all our guests. Dabrielle was also so helpful with distributing our “welcome to our wedding” bags to our guests. We’ll definitely be keeping the Holiday Inn in mind for any future visitors we have in New Orleans!

Apr 20, 2025 · Melanie MontgomeryTitle: Disappointed and Concerned: Bedbug Issue Handled Poorly I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn New Orleans Superdome, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing due to a serious cleanliness issue. We discovered bedbugs in our room — an alarming and unacceptable situation for any hotel, let alone one under a major brand like Holiday Inn. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk, we were only offered a new room. While that might seem like a quick fix, there was no indication that the hotel took proper sanitation steps to address the infestation. No apologies, no escalation, and no real concern about the fact that bedbugs can spread easily — not just to other rooms, but also into guests’ luggage and homes. It’s frustrating that something as serious as bedbugs was met with such a minimal response. A room change doesn’t solve the root of the problem. Proper pest control, a thorough inspection, and clear communication with affected guests should have been the bare minimum. I expected better from a hotel that carries the Holiday Inn name. Unfortunately, due to the mishandling of a health and cleanliness issue, I can’t recommend this location to other travelers.
May 28, 2025 · Yolanda McNellVery nice hotel. Wonderful view. Clean rooms. Great location (12-15 minute walk to Bourbon Street). Security on site 24 hours. I would have given it 4-5 stars if the water pressure in the showers were better (pretty low) & if at least regular coffee was included. Also, bring back the wristbands please. The restaurant (The Clarinet) on site has great food and service.
Mar 25, 2025 · Melanie MOur stay at The Holiday Inn Downtown Superdome was truly made special by the incredible staff. From the moment we walked in, everyone we encountered had such a warm, genuine energy—it honestly felt like they were just as excited for our trip as we were. Every interaction, whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or restaurant team, came with a smile and a kind word. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy, and their positivity was contagious—it really put a smile on our faces each day. It’s rare to feel so personally cared for at a hotel, but that’s exactly what we experienced here. The hotel itself was lovely—clean, stylish, and comfortable—but it was the people that truly made it feel like a home away from home. Can’t recommend this place enough, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.
