Amazing location in New Orleans. We have stayed several Marriotts in this area, and this has been the absolute best service anywhere. We had a somewhat complicated room situation with check in and check out. Yvonna at the front desk was who helped us several times. Always happy and cheerful and made suggestions of things to do in NOLA that were spot on. The bartender Trey also was extremely helpful, and went above and beyond. We were suprised to hear he was only there 2 weeks. Yvonna was super pleasant and never frazzled even when line was long and it was the day after mardi gras! Jalisa helped immediately and even came directly to the room when there was an issue with the thermostat. She recognized our Marriott status when a lot do not do that anymore. Note: lots of construction across the street, yvonna did her best to get the rooms aa quiet as possible. We will be back, it's a great hotel with a cool vibe.

Mar 09, 2025 · LACSolid hotel for the price I guess. The location is pretty great, but it seems like the whole place is run by the person working the bar. They run the bar, concierge, and answer the phones at the same time. The staff is nice but the hotel isn’t super secure. Not only is there only like one person operating the whole place at a time, you don’t need a room key to access the elevator, and our room door didn’t latch unless you actually pushed it shut. When we got in, our room immediately had a strange smell to it. The bathroom was musty and shower looked dirty. Turns out there was a bad leak and we had to switch rooms… apparently they knew what the issue was but didn’t inform us ahead of time and still put us in that room. They helped us move our stuff over and THEN informed us that the water would be shut off in the whole building the following day for at least 4 hours. We weren’t made aware of this maintenance until this moment, late, just the night before. Even in our second room (which was bigger and smelled a lot better), the blinds didn’t work in the window and the sink drain was kinda busted. So yeah, it’s fine for the price. This is a “euro-style” hotel which I guess means it wants to be ~trendy~, the microwave is in the lobby and there’s no breakfast in the morning. Also, the lobby smells like a really strong cleaner or bad air freshener. They want you to mingle with other guests but realistically who wants to hang out at a hotel bar when you’re in the middle of New Orleans? Lastly, we ended up going with the parking garage across the street because it was cheaper than the hotel and we didnt need to access our car during our stay.
May 23, 2025 · Olivia GrassoThis is a nice, cozy hotel. The lobby is really decorated and inviting to just have a seat and chill. The bar is excellent. They give you a free drink coin at check-in. The room was just the right size. The staff have been nothing but accommodating and informative. Definitely would stay here again.
Apr 13, 2025 · Inez PittsHonestly, the room was totally fine. It was bigger than other Moxy hotels I've been in which was a huge plus, the location was good but there's a ton of construction going on outside the hotel (presumably building or updating an existing hotel) so it was loud during our stay -- can't fault the hotel for that, but the windows are not soundproof which is in the control of the hotel -- also why the heck doesn't the bathroom have a fan?! Lol If you take a hot shower, the room gets super stuffy and the windows are all painted shut so it's hard to get any fresh air. Having the fan run 24/7 (even when the AC kicked off) was a bit rough on my sinuses but it was the only way to not have the room feel stale. Otherwise it was a wonderful time. All the employees were entertaining and Ronald -- one of the managers (I think?) was very personable and so funny. We had a great time. Would definitely visit again. Thank you!
Mar 22, 2025 · Amanda RuizI see the vision for this hotel. It has a great vibe, unfortunately the execution of the vision is lacking. I love that wanted a urban artistic vibe. The entrance lounge area was awesome. You felt welcome to hangout and relax. Heading to our room the carpets coming off the elevator were nasty. You could see they weren't vacuum well and needed an intense shampoo. The room was minimalist which I appreciate. However the side tables were water damaged and nothing worked properly. The air vent in the room is located by the entrance door in a little hall. That area stayed cold. The bed was located by two huge windows so it got pretty hot. I would suggest a fan to push the air to the sleeping area. I believe simple fixes and a deep cleaning to this place would make it awesome. Over all i hope they workout the kinks because I believe this could be an awesome place to stay!
