The Mary Beth Hotel & Gallery is ideally situated at 310 S Rampart St, New Orleans, LA 70112, USA. Its placement allows for remarkable accessibility to a wide array of New Orleans' most cherished landmarks and vibrant neighborhoods.
One of the most significant advantages for guests is the hotel's walkability. Reviewers consistently highlight the "terrific location" and how it "couldn’t be better!" Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) is approximately a 20-25 minute drive, ensuring smooth travel connections for guests arriving from further afield.

For us, the people of Louisiana, The Mary Beth Hotel & Gallery offers a truly exceptional and deeply fitting choice for a New Orleans staycation, a family reunion, or a luxurious escape right here in our own vibrant city. It's perfectly tailored to those who appreciate authenticity, art, and the comforts of home, all within the unparalleled energy of NOLA.
Firstly, the "terrific location" on South Rampart Street is a massive advantage. Being able to "walk to any attraction you need to go to," including the French Quarter, the Superdome, and nearby shops, means you're at the epicenter of everything, allowing you to truly experience the city like a local. No need for endless car rides or navigating parking; just step out and soak it all in. This convenience is priceless for enjoying our festivals, sporting events, or simply a weekend exploring the Quarter.
Beyond location, The Mary Beth's unique concept as a "living art museum" resonates deeply with our state's rich cultural heritage. Being "surrounded by 'story'" and original artwork from local artists creates an immersive experience that feels genuinely New Orleans. It’s a chance to connect with the creative spirit of our city in a way few other accommodations can offer.
Furthermore, the apartment-style luxury units are perfect for our needs. Whether it's a family gathering or a group of friends, having "spacious" multi-bedroom units with "full kitchens" and "in-unit laundry" provides all the comforts and conveniences of home, far exceeding a typical hotel room. This level of comfort and privacy, combined with "comfortable beds" and "quality materials/design," ensures a truly restful and enjoyable stay. As one reviewer noted, "This place is a full-on, two story, two bedroom, 2.5 bath apartment that had large rooms, king-size beds, full baths in both bedrooms, a large, combined living room/kitchen with full amenities if you wanted to cook." This means flexibility, convenience, and a hassle-free experience.
The "amazing" hospitality from the owners and property manager, who "went above and beyond," simply reinforces that this is a place built with care and a genuine understanding of guest needs. For a local looking for an elevated, authentic, and supremely comfortable New Orleans experience, The Mary Beth Hotel & Gallery is not just suitable – it's an absolute must-try before this "gem" truly "blows up"!

Jan 27, 2025 · Dana LeeRecently did a buyout over superbowl weekend for my talent. Can’t recommend this place enough! The owners went above and beyond, the property manager was always easy to reach. This is perfect for anyone who’s looking for a space to do corporate buyouts or single town home for anyone visiting Nola. The decor and quality of the homes are above and beyond, far exceeds any normal Airbnb. On top of all that, the location couldn’t be better! Great technology, security, comfortable beds, quality materials/design- A++
Feb 17, 2025 · Danny LimLovely hotel! Beautiful, clean interiors with a great location just outside the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter. The gallery aspect was cool and gave the place a very hip, thought-out vibe. The management were fast to respond and accommodating with our need for early check in and late check out. Small things that would make the place even better: mirrors in the rooms (and at least one full length in the place), better control over the temperature (the thermostat was very finicky and the place was often too hot or too cold) and comfier seating in the shared space. Overall, I would stay here again.
Dec 09, 2024 · Nicola SmithI recently visited New Orleans and had the pleasure of staying at the Mary Beth Hotel and Gallery. This place truly felt like a home away from home in every way that matters. The hotel offers everything you need to feel completely comfortable and safe, plus a few delightful surprises. The amenities were exceptional. The kitchen was fully stocked and even included containers for leftovers, which is a thoughtful touch. The showers in my unit were fantastic, with excellent water pressure that made for a refreshing experience. The beds and furniture were incredibly comfortable, ensuring great nights of sleep throughout my stay. The location of the Mary Beth Hotel and Gallery is stellar. Situated on a fairly quiet street, it's just a short walk to Canal Street and Bourbon Street. You’re right next to all the excitement of the area without being stuck in the chaos. It’s the perfect balance. One of the highlights of my stay was the art. I spent a good amount of time wandering through the hotel, admiring the beautiful pieces and learning about the artists. It added a magical touch to the whole experience. The Mary Beth Hotel and Gallery is a fantastic place to stay when visiting New Orleans. Comfortable, convenient, and charming, it exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend it!
Jul 03, 2024 · Sheila CapettaOur party of 5 stayed at the Mary Beth over Labor Day weekend and it was the perfect spot and experience for so many reasons! It is located near enough to the craziness of Bourbon street to make it an enjoyable stroll, taking in many of the sights of New Orleans. Speaking of sights, nothing compares to the sights within the walls of the Mary Beth itself. The entire hotel and each unit is an art gallery, guaranteed to provoke conversation and emotion with each unique piece in every room. Our stay was also highlighted by the little things the Mary Beth offers, such as the most comfortable beds! The Mary Beth will be our top choice to stay the next time we visit!
