From the moment I arrived, the level of care and attention I received at this hotel was truly exceptional. Sean, who checked me in, went above and beyond to ensure I had the best room and the most comfortable stay possible—his hospitality set the tone for the rest of my visit. Each morning, the incredibly talented barista crafted the most delicious custom coffee drinks, making my mornings feel extra special. In the evenings, Chris at the rooftop pool bar was the perfect host—welcoming, attentive, and always on point with both service and conversation. Every interaction, every detail, every gesture made by the staff reminded me why true hospitality matters. This team delivered not just service, but a full experience of care, warmth, and excellence. Because of them, I can honestly say: I won’t be staying anywhere else when I visit New Orleans again. Shout out to the entire team for being the best hospitality crew I’ve ever encountered. You all made this trip unforgettable!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel! We met family from all over in NOLA. The hotel Location is awesome, 2 blocks to trolly on one side and a short walk to Bourbon St. The staff made this experience most enjoyable, from the sweet lady that greeted us at the door to the housekeepers, Bell Hops, front desk staff, restaurant and bar staff were awesome and very accommodating. The hotel is beautiful old historic building with a pool on the roof top with bar and food is perfect. Food was very good! Our small and grown grand children enjoyed their stay, hard to please all ages! We enjoyed the gated courtyard in the mornings and evening. The rooms are big and beautiful, loved the bathrooms. Next time I hope to book a terrace room on the 9th floor! Can’t wait to stay again!

Disappointing Stay at NOPSI Hotel – Serious Service and Security Issues Stayed: May 22–25, 2025 Unfortunately, our experience at NOPSI Hotel fell far short of expectations. We arrived around 4:45 PM, only to be told that our room wasn’t ready. After asking for an alternative, we were assigned room 304. While it looked fine initially, it had several problems: one sink drained extremely slowly, leaving unpleasant residue, and the other faucet had a broken handle. We were issued two room keys—one stopped working the next morning, and by the afternoon, neither functioned. Although the staff reissued them, only one worked reliably. Housekeeping was another major issue. We were not informed that rooms were only cleaned every other day. After requesting fresh towels twice—once in the morning and again in the afternoon—we never received them and were forced to reuse dirty towels. Toiletries were equally disappointing. We received two tiny bottles of shower gel and one of conditioner, but no shampoo. It seemed they may have run out and tried to substitute with extra shower gel. The soap dish, oddly made of metal, caused soap to stick so badly we had to peel it off each time—almost comical, if it weren’t so frustrating. Other basics were also neglected. The toilet paper was of such low quality it caused actual discomfort—unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one of this supposed standard. Most alarming, however, was a frightening incident at 12:50 AM on May 24. A stranger aggressively tried to open our door—rattling the knob, knocking, yelling, and refusing to leave even after we told him he had the wrong room. We called the front desk, but security never arrived. The individual eventually left on his own, but the lack of response was deeply concerning. How is it possible that strangers can access guest room floors late at night without any security checks? This was our first visit to New Orleans, booked through Costco Travel, and we were deeply disappointed. Between poor maintenance, inadequate service, and serious security lapses, we cannot recommend NOPSI Hotel. It is imperative that they improve staff training, guest support, and above all, security measures to ensure guest safety and comfort.

Really nifty hotel with a history behind it. The hotel staff were all helpful and generous. The location was excellent. It’s within walking distance of the French Quarter and several restaurants of note. I would feel comfortable recommending this hotel to people traveling to The Big Easy.

Rooms were nice and spacious. The hotel is within walking distance of the all the main attractions in the French quarter and close to the tram. Went here for my honeymoon and the hotel gifted us with some champagne to celebrate which was a lovely touch. Absolutely loved the rooftop pool!
