Few things you may wanna know if you have high status with Marriott. I have Titanium status. Yet there was no free breakfast. I have never come across AC hotels or equiv which will not give free breakfast for 1-2 people. You will get 500 points - which is equivalent to $3 total, regardless of how many days you stay! Also I was not given *any* upgrade. Hotel was not full when I visited in mid Apr and it was not any kind of festive time or anything that was going on in the citym Also as others have pointed out, rooms are really small. In my room, there was really no closet to put luggage, no racks, nothing. Aloft has an elongated cushioned bench for instance. There is a small study table and a simple chair. In fact super motel 8 has more amenities in the room than this upscale one. Plus side They put a container of Starbucks by the reception mornings in lieu of free breakfast.

Jun 13, 2025 · Ravindra PrabhuWe originally booked this hotel for three nights, drawn in by its modern aesthetic. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t match the photos. Upon arrival, we were immediately moved to a different room because the first one had visible dirt on the floor, including someone’s used contact lenses, and hair right at the entry. Sadly, the second room wasn’t much better. We even found more hair and debris, which was picked up by the envelope slid under our door for a complimentary breakfast. It was pretty clear that cleanliness wasn’t a priority. The discomfort didn’t end there. We tiptoed around the room because it didn’t feel clean enough to walk barefoot or relax in. The rest of the property (hallways and common areas) also showed signs of serious wear and lack of maintenance, giving the whole place a rundown feel that clashed with its stylish outer appearance. To top it off, the walls were paper thin. We could hear the neighboring TV as if it were in our room, and later, we could even hear the the guest snoring. There was not a feeling of privacy or coziness at all. We ended up canceling the rest of our stay and booking a different hotel before the first night was even over. While the hotel has a trendy look, the experience lacked comfort, cleanliness, and basic upkeep… three essentials for any stay of mine.
Jun 18, 2025 · Winter JonesI recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience thanks to one of the staff members, De’Jon. She went above and beyond to make sure my daughter and I felt safe and well taken care of. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made our stay truly memorable. Excellent customer service like hers is rare and very much appreciated. I will forever remember her. Thank you again! And i hope God blesses you abundantly!
Jun 11, 2025 · Kia WilsonI had a great stay. The hotel is modern and sleek. My room was spacious and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location is fantastic. It's just a short walk to the French Quarter, but far enough away to enjoy a quiet night’s rest. Dayshawn at the front desk was amazing. She was friendly, professional, and truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She made sure our stay was smooth and enjoyable.
May 26, 2025 · Kathryn SelesnakThe Good: Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. For example, maintenance quickly arrived to fix a loose tp holder and a door that had hinge issues. They also found tape for my luggage. It is in a very good location. The Bad: The hotel rooms lack any real closet and the bathrooms are extremely dark. The decor is aging badly. For example, the bathroom's floor tiling was cracked/patched and there was a loose floor tile. The knob for the overhead shower was so stiff, we thought it was broken. The lobby elevator was not working 1/2 the week of our visit, fortunately there was another one down the hall. While we had one, there are some rooms that lack outside windows--it is a converted financial building and so interior office space was used in the conversion. The outside of the building is really cool. but the inside space is now uninspired and modern.
