Great Hotel with amazing amenities, restaurants, pool, Starbucks, conference rooms, gift shop, bar, etc…. All areas were clean and always had a refreshing sanitized scent to them. Valet hotel guest services were courteous & polite. Hotel even arranged for local food truck vendors to attend during lunch for the multiple conferences staying at the hotel. One thing I would recommend, please replace the bathroom sink faucet so to extend it out further than 2” past the back of the sink.

May 05, 2025 · Chris and Stephanie ParkThe bar and restaurant at the Courtland Grand Hotel were fantastic! The food was delicious, the drinks were well-crafted, and the atmosphere was both upscale and comfortable. What truly made the experience memorable was our server, Imani. She was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Her service was top-notch and made us feel right at home. If you’re visiting, definitely stop by the bar—and hope you get Imani. She’s amazing!
May 13, 2025 · Delorean StaffordThe north tower is in very rough shape. Rooms are very dated and not the cleanest. The rear elevators don't work. If you're in a wheelchair, getting to the pool level is very challenging. Especially since the rear elevators don't work. There is a stair lift to get you to pool level from the lobby, but requires you to ask the front desk for the key to use each time. Do yourself a favor. Spent a little more and stay at any other downtown hotel. They are all much better than Cortland. This is a 2 star hotel at best.
May 24, 2025 · nokia brockI have to give a complete and honest review from start to finish. First off, I booked this hotel the same day I checked in. I was visiting Atlanta for a function I was invited to with my children and sister. I had a room booked in advance and when we got there we were completely disappointed for a number of reasons. With that being said my sister found Courtland Grand because we were looking for a hotel with an indoor swimming pool. The women I spoke with during the reservation process helped us find the best rates for a short notice arrival. She was slightly misleading with the amount to be paid for the deposit. I was told the deposit was $25 per night, but it was $100 flat. Either way the deposit was applied towards our valet parking so there’s no complaints there on my end. The valet were so nice, I’m not sure if it’s because I had my little ones or because I tipped them, but I didn’t wait longer than 5 minutes for my car each time I left the hotel. They even help load and unload the trunk. Each hotel employee I encountered was extremely nice. We didn’t get help from the concierge even thought we requested it. The hotel has so much to offer I wasn’t even able to get pictures of it all. There’s literally two restaurants, a Starbucks, a whole social area and so, so much more. The design is modern, and sophisticated. I took a lot of pictures and it’s still so much I wasn’t able to capture. I think we had the biggest room that was on the 5th floor(504). I was not disappointed at all. There was a stain on the pull out couch bed, but the front desk receptionist gave us multiple covers to layer it for convenience. The suite offered a full bath and a half bath, it was very spacious. With a closed off bedroom and a beautiful view of downtown. I also gained another vacation while booking through a promo that was offered. I’ll definitely be staying here every time I visit Atlanta. We got to stay during a time when there was a furry convention so we got to see so many fun and colorful costumes. It wasn’t a dull moment here.
May 15, 2025 · BrittanyThis hotel is a health and safety disaster. My room had water leaking from the window during a storm, soaking the entire area near the bed. The sheet they gave me had visible mold stains, but staff insisted it was just “feathers” and denied seeing any water damage, even with photos. The issues go far beyond my room. Mold and water intrusion are clearly present throughout the hotel. The ice machines have not been cleaned since 2023. The elevators have no updated inspection tags. They pump eucalyptus scent through the hallways in an attempt to cover the musty, moldy smell. There was also a closet door with a deadbolt and only one handle—from the outside. You could literally trap someone inside, and when I brought it up, staff claimed it was “to protect your belongings,” which made no sense and ignored the actual safety risk. I will be reporting this hotel to the city and health department, and I am escalating this to corporate. This place is not fit for guests.
