We decided to stay at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis and it was a great decision. You don’t have a choice but to pay for valet parking but it was worth it, and from the time we pulled in everyone was super helpful. While we were checking in, the two people at the counter were super sweet, they even realized that we had booked an upgraded room and they decided to do the same for my parents so we would be beside each other, it was a smooth process. There were renovations going on but nothing was in our way, it was in a contained area and didn’t affect our stay. They had people who also helped direct us and others to help take our bags out of our cars and others to take our bags to our rooms. We barely had to lift a finger because they also unload the bags into the rooms! They do seem to also hold a lot of events but it was a big enough hotel that it never seemed crowded. We also didn’t have to worry about loud noise especially at night, it was very peaceful. The rooms were very spacious, clean and beautiful and we were glad we choose the skyline view! There’s also a river pool with fish in it that you can see from the glass elevator, a small store and Starbucks in the location, the room service was really good!!!!! A lot of stuff is also in walking distance if you don’t mind walking 15 min or less to different areas. The only issue that happened was that my parents tv didn’t work but they worked super fast to fix the issue and the trip still went according to plan! Overall, 10/10 would highly recommend!!!!!

The building is modern and impressive, featuring 27 floors with elevators that move up and down in an interesting way. Valet parking is available. The rooms were spacious and clean, with plenty of closet space. However, I would have liked to have a few more towels provided in each room. One downside was the ongoing construction at the hotel, which I wish I had been informed about beforehand. On a positive note, I appreciated the hotel’s location, as it was conveniently situated near restaurants and shops. I was surprised when housekeeping did not clean my room. I had to call the front desk three times to inquire about the cleaning schedule. One of the front desk agents explained that they had only two housekeeping staff for the 2,000 rooms, which shouldn't be the guests' concern; they should hire more staff. Overall, this hotel is suitable for a short stay in Atlanta. However, if you require housekeeping, be sure to call in the morning. I was grateful for the early check-in and appreciated being able to store my bags after checking out.
Apr 18, 2025 · Samantha RThe Atlanta Marriott Marquis offers a stunning view in an amazing dowtown atmosphere. Visit the 360° Skyline level on the 10th floor and take great pictures. There's a concierge lounge on the 42nd floor that offers finger foods at 5pm with desserts around 7:45. Elite status pateons will also have daily breakfast buffet style for free in the Sears restaurant (AL Level) as the lounge does not offer breakfast. The concierge lounge also have a Starbucks coffee machine, fruit, water, soda, and granola snack bars daily during their open hours. We were honored to stay in an amazing suite on the 47th floor with great views and comfort. Housekeeping service was daily and the employees were friendly. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were updated. Parking is valet only and runs about $60 at the time of this review with self parking off site for $25ish per night. The Peachtree Hub food court is connected to the hotel and offers a variety of eating options at over 20+ establishments. The Marta is also connected to the Hub, which takes you right to the airport in under 20 minutes for about $3.50. I attempted to make it to the gym, but it was pretty sweaty, so I opted to get plenty of steps by doing laps around the Skyline floor. There's not a free business area to print, but FEDEx is on-site.

Other front desk people seemed to not honor your elite status at all regarding late checkout, they didn’t even ask what room you at or what status you have before giving the “no” reply with ridiculous reasons. I had to ask again via the chat in the app in order to get the late checkout. The room service was the worst I have ever experienced, asked for extra towels at 12pm and no delivery until I asked again at 12am. Food at sears was great, the staff there were very welcoming and friendly.

I've stayed here numerous times for events like Dragon Con, and it’s always our go-to spot when we’re out with friends and don’t feel like making the 35-mile drive home. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Downtown Atlanta, just steps away from all the restaurants, bars, and events you could want. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, even going the extra mile to make sure our friends' rooms are next to ours. And let’s talk about the vibe—the architecture and interior views are absolutely stunning. There are so many cool spots to just sit, relax, and soak it all in. Honestly, you don’t even have to leave the hotel to have an amazing night. Highly recommend it whether you’re attending a convention, planning a staycation, or just looking for a luxury downtown experience!
