First the bad: the other reviews are correct in that there are some cosmetic issues in the rooms and this hotel is definitely in need of a refresh. But I would still give it 4 stars because: The atrium is beautiful and so peaceful. The beds are super comfortable. The pool was great. Housekeeping comes every day (no one does that anymore). Breakfast and evening reception were great and overall it was a good value. This was our second time staying here.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Parsippany Introduce

For those navigating the "Hotels Near Of Me" options in Parsippany, New Jersey, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Parsippany, located at 909 Parsippany Blvd, Parsippany, NJ 07054, USA, stands as a notable choice within the all-suite hotel category. As a Hilton brand, it typically aims to provide a higher level of comfort and amenities, often appealing to both business and leisure travelers seeking more space and convenience. However, an objective introduction requires a balanced look at both its strengths and areas identified for improvement, as reflected in recent guest experiences.

The environment of Embassy Suites by Hilton Parsippany is a mixed bag, offering both appealing features and signs of wear. A recurring highlight from guest reviews is the "beautiful and so peaceful" atrium. This signature Embassy Suites feature, often multi-storied and filled with greenery and water features, provides a grand and serene communal space that contrasts with the more private suite interiors. This central atrium can be a pleasant spot for relaxation or informal gatherings. However, guests also consistently note that the hotel is "definitely in need of a refresh" and that there are "cosmetic issues in the rooms." This indicates that while the overall structure and some common areas maintain their appeal, individual suites and potentially other parts of the property might show signs of age or wear and tear. One review specifically mentioned a significant "water leak" in a suite leading to a "completely soaked" floor, highlighting a need for maintenance attention. Despite these issues, the overall impression of the environment is still often positive for many guests, suggesting the core ambiance and functionality remain appealing.

In terms of services, Embassy Suites by Hilton Parsippany offers several signature amenities that are highly valued. The "Breakfast and evening reception were great" is a consistent commendation. Embassy Suites is renowned for its complimentary made-to-order breakfast, typically offering a wide selection of hot and cold items, and a complimentary evening reception with drinks and snacks, providing significant value and a social atmosphere for guests. Another service highlight is that "Housekeeping comes every day," which is increasingly rare in the hotel industry and is appreciated by guests who value consistent room tidiness. The front desk staff's responsiveness to issues, such as providing a new suite after a water leak, demonstrates a willingness to address immediate concerns. The hotel is conveniently located "near the on ramp for 287 south," making it easily accessible for travelers by car. However, one notable point of contention is the parking policy. As one review emphatically states, "YOU MUST PAY FOR PARKING! yes that's right it's not a typo. We stayed overnight and paid $20 dollars to park our car at the hotel." This is a significant added cost that can be a detractor for guests expecting complimentary parking, which is common in suburban locations. While official Hilton sources indicate the self-parking fee is $15.00 per day, the guest's experience of $20 highlights that this can be a surprising and unwelcome charge for some.

The features of Embassy Suites by Hilton Parsippany are centered around providing an all-suite experience. Each suite typically includes separate living and sleeping areas, often with a sofa bed, a microwave, mini-refrigerator, and two flat-screen TVs. This extra space and the presence of a wet bar enhance comfort and convenience, especially for families or those on extended stays. The "beds are super comfortable," contributing significantly to a good night's sleep. The hotel also features an indoor pool, which one guest described as "great," although another warned of an "unusually high volume of chlorine which was extremely irritating to the eyes." This suggests a need for consistent pool maintenance and chemical balancing. A fitness center is a standard amenity, allowing guests to maintain their workout routines. For business travelers, meeting rooms and a business center are generally available. The presence of an on-site restaurant, Bistecca Lounge, which serves dinner and offers a happy hour, provides convenient dining options without leaving the property. While the breakfast is praised for its quality, one guest did note issues with other "riff-raff" not cleaning up after themselves due to "limited seating," suggesting that during peak times, the breakfast area might get crowded and require better management or more space.

Regarding promotional information, as part of the Hilton family of brands, Embassy Suites by Hilton Parsippany participates in the Hilton Honors loyalty program. This allows guests to earn points for stays, which can be redeemed for free nights, experiences, and other benefits. Hilton Honors members also often receive exclusive rates and perks like digital check-in and digital key access. Prospective guests searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" can find various promotions directly through the Hilton website or by calling the hotel at (973) 334-1440 or +1 973-334-1440. These can include seasonal discounts, packages for specific events, or corporate rates for business travelers. Given that the hotel has repeat guests ("This was our second time staying here" and "This is our second time at this establishment"), it indicates that despite some drawbacks, many find the value proposition, particularly the complimentary breakfast and evening reception, to be compelling enough for repeat visits. However, the unexpected cost of parking and the inconsistent maintenance issues might lead some, as one review suggested, to "see what other accommodations are available at a different property" for their next trip. The hotel was last renovated in 2007 according to some sources, and discussions of "refresh" and "renovation" within the brand indicate that properties are continually updated to meet modern guest expectations, though the specific timing for this Parsippany location's comprehensive overhaul isn't explicitly detailed in the provided reviews. Guests valuing a refreshed environment may want to inquire about upcoming renovation schedules.

In summary, Embassy Suites by Hilton Parsippany offers an attractive all-suite experience with valued amenities like a complimentary made-to-order breakfast and evening reception, set within a grand atrium. The comfortable beds and daily housekeeping are strong points. However, potential guests should be aware of reported cosmetic and maintenance issues, the potentially high chlorine levels in the pool, and, notably, the paid parking policy. While some guests have had "hit or miss" experiences, the overall value for many, especially repeat visitors, remains positive, making it a contender for those seeking "Hotels Near Of Me" in the Parsippany area who weigh the included amenities heavily against other considerations.

This is our second time at this establishment, our suite had a water leak and the floor was completely soaked! Told the front desk and they gave us a new suite which was acceptable. The location is conveniently located near the on ramp for 287 south. The pool has an unusually high volume of chlorine which was extremely irritating to the eyes, we were able to purchase some clear eyes drops from the shop in the lobby for 9 dollars. I think next trip we will see what other accommodations are available at a different property. On a lighter note the breakfast is a better quality then most provided the riff-raff clean up after themselves as one should always clean up after themselves and due to limited seating is a must. This property can be hit or miss! Almost forgot. .. YOU MUST PAY FOR PARKING! yes that's right it's not a typo. We stayed overnight and paid $20 dollars to park our car at the hotel. We stayed thinking that added cost would lead to a higher quality of people but alas we were wrong.

Having known nothing about Parsippany prior, I didn’t question the daily parking fee prior to booking. This isn’t uncommon for hotels in big cities like Boston or NYC with extremely limited parking, and I really know nothing about Parsippany or its size. I was just looking for something within driving distance to for our annual NJ Spartan race. When we got to this hotel and pulled up to the world’s largest and emptiest parking lot, I really couldn’t understand the reasoning behind the hotel asking for payment for parking. It’s not a big city, there aren’t any concert venues/theaters next door. I truly just can’t wrap my head around it as I’ve stayed at so many hotels at this point and truly the only hotels to ask for compensation to have a vehicle on site at least have a valid reason. The room itself was standard. Everything for the most part was acceptable. The A/C was very weak, but outside of that the rest of the stay was okay. Take note: If a lot of your reviews mention the fee, people probably aren’t happy about it. It’s objectively unreasonable. Just makes you look greedy. I hate to harp on one thing, but even one thing is enough to leave a sour taste.

What a fantastic stay!! Embassy Suites by Hilton Parsippany delivered across the board. The rooms were impressively spacious, with both a bedroom and living area that gave me room to breathe and unwind. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was large and open. Yes, it's a little dated, but everything felt fresh, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. The amenities were a real highlight: complimentary breakfast with plenty of options (including an omelet bar), a stunning open atrium that brought in natural light with sooooo many beautiful plants, and a relaxing evening reception (with a free drink AND SNACKS!) that felt like a bonus. The gym even had updated tech and a Peloton! The staff was the true highlight. Every single team member I encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. You can tell there’s pride in the service here, and that creates such a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re heading to Parsippany, stay here. It's the kind of hotel that makes you feel taken care of.

Not a great hotel. The biggest disappointment was my room temperature. The thermostat was completely useless and had no control over the room. The front desk advised me to open my window to avoid the room reaching 82 degrees Fahrenheit. Keep in mind that the freeway was about 100 yards from my room so it was hard to sleep with the noise. On warm days, I struggled with a couple of bugs making it into the room because there was no screen. Needless to say it was pretty pathetic and annoying. Breakfast ends at 9 on weekdays, which is too early. Overall cleanliness was sub par, rooms are outdated, my dresser had parts missing and was a piece of junk. Definitely would never stay here again even if someone else is paying
