BED BUGS. Ya'll I kid you not there was an adult bed bug that crawled out when we pulled up the fitted sheet before leaving. I had never seen one but I ran out of that room out of fear of the only thing it could've been, and google images proved me right. The staff are super nice but this isn't really family friendly if you're in town to see family or something. The halls smell like smoke and the rooms are really grimey with thin mattresses and torn up furniture. You can tell the poor cleaning people try their best but the building just needs to be demolished and rebuilt at this point. You're better off finding an airbnb that takes pets. If you can PLEASE spend the extra money to get a nicer hotel or just find a cheap airbnb

Apr 22, 2025 · Grace KaySTAY AWAY!!! STAY AWAY!!!! STAY AWAY!!!! So, I don't normally do reviews but this time I have been left no choice to let as many people as possible know to stay away. I have 1 positive things to say and that is the gentleman that works at the front counter during the day is a very good man and I hate leaving this review for that reason alone. He didn't do anything wrong which is why I want to make it clear, he is very nice and professional. Back at the beginning of this month, I made a reservation to stay at this hotel for 1 night. I was due to arrive before check in time. I called and the the man at the front desk told me he could allow me to check in early. Instead of 3pm he let me check in at noon. Upon arrival he checked me in and said if the room is not ready to come back down. I get up to the floor off the elevator and there is dirt all in the hallway in front of the room door. And everything just seemed to be outdated but you get what you pay for really. I open the room door and it appears to look clean and ready. I walk in and my shoes immediately are sticking to the floor. I had to put towels down around the bed so I didn't stick to the floor. There is rust on the stove, and I don't believe it was some sort of droppings on the bookshelf but I'm not sure. I cut the TV on and the tv proceeds to automatically keep cutting off every 2-3 mins. TV would not connect to the WiFi. I sit my bags on the counter and open the fridge and it just was not pleasant looking. There were people in the hallway arguing loud about something and I just start feeling unsafe. Then as I'm sitting on the bed, which I will say the sheets did appear clean, but the guest in the room above me decided to have either a jumping and dancing OR decided to practice wrestling moves. And that was my breaking point. After 2 hours with all of this, I picked my bags up and decided this was not the hotel for me and head downstairs to leave. Nothing is different in the room from when I arrived,EXCEPT the towels by the bed cuz my shoes are sticking to the floor. And now it is 2pm, there was guest in the lobby and I hand a new lady my room key and before I could say anything, she sees I had just checked in and says, since I booked the a 3rd party there is nothing she can do about my bill. So instead of causing a scene in the lobby, I figure might as well call booking.com after I get to where I'm going and discuss everything with them. Now, they say you have until 6pm to cancel a reservation. I called booking.com at 5:01pm and explained everything and they said they had to call the property to work something out but no one was answering so I would get an email with the resolution. 3 days later I get an email that the hotel would like to offer a $10.27 refund if I accept. I said no. If I had actually cancelled I would have gotten all my money back. I was gonna be satisfied simply with half off. I have called booking.com over 7 times. I have emailed booking.com atleast 5 days, I have called extended stay guest relations twice, even contacted corporate with no responses back. But after all this has gone on because I can't get a response back from anyone and I did not stay in the room, I don't think asking for my money back is asking to much. So I'm gonna keep calling and emailing and reviewing until someone makes this right. I'm not asking for anything more than I gave but they won't even give me the respect to even try to make this right. I didn't act silly or cause a scene in their lobby at the front desk like most people would have. So give me the same respect back.
Apr 17, 2025 · awwwhellz naw502Reserved handicap room 1st floor we did not get the room we reserved. Tried to put us on 3rd floor with a non working elevator for a disabled man. We finally got a room on the 1st floor that was not handicap he said he over looked the room. The room was not cleaned when we got there after 7 pm so had to wait over 30 minutes so he could go clean the room. They would not bring clean towels till we gave the dirty ones back to front desk he stated to many people steal their towels. We also seen roaches on the wall. Never again will we or our family stay at this establishment.

It was one of the worst experiences I ever had. I broke my foot and and walked in on crutches just after another couple. No one was there to check us in so we had to call someone and after 15 minutes someone came to check us in. The couple in front of me got in fine. Then when I showed her my reservation she told me they had 4 rooms to clean and didn't have any rooms available for me. I showed her my reservation and she said that the don't hold rooms and they give them away on a first come, first serve basis and I should have arrived at 3pm. I asked her if they had any rooms at all left and she told me they were holding one room for someone more important than me. So , they don't hold reservations, but then they do for some people?

Cigarette butts everywhere even in the entry doors. Very rough crowd always hanging out and made us very uncomfortable. I definitely don’t recommend even though the location was perfect for the Exposition center.
