Boy oh boy where do I even start. When we walked in it didn't seem that bad nice lobby and quick check in. Unfortunately that is where it all ends!! When I say this place smells I mean it. There were endless things to get upset about. For example there were stains on all sheets pillows walls rugs and towels. I can now confidently say that I have gotten dirty from a shower. The alarm clock has no batteries and the cord was cut, the outlets in the desk didn't work. There was a dent in a wall and the thermostat didn't work. The elevator was small and had slurs carved into it. There also appeared to be boogers on the side of the beds. This place was genuinely a safety hazard. On the bright side I got to play one of the best games of all time, find the biggest stain.
For those in search of "Hotels Near Of Me" in the Exton, Pennsylvania area, particularly for events, business meetings, or a convenient stay, the Exton Hotel & Conference Center At Exton presents itself as a notable option. Situated at 815 N Pottstown Pike Building A, Exton, PA 19341, USA, this establishment aims to cater to a diverse clientele, ranging from individual travelers to large groups attending conferences or family events. As its name suggests, a key aspect of this hotel is its integrated conference facilities, designed to host a wide array of gatherings.
The "environment" of the Exton Hotel & Conference Center At Exton elicits varied reactions from guests. Upon entering, the lobby generally creates a positive first impression, described as "nice" and facilitating a "quick check in." This suggests a welcoming initial atmosphere and efficient front desk operations. Furthermore, the hotel appears to pay attention to aesthetic details in certain common areas, with one guest mentioning "fresh flowers off the elevators on every floor" and "elegant touches like that" which made their stay "even more special." This indicates an effort to maintain a pleasant and visually appealing environment in public spaces, particularly those leading to guest rooms and event areas. However, there are significant counterpoints regarding the environment of the guest rooms themselves. One review provides a stark contrast, describing a strong pervasive "smell" throughout the place and detailing numerous issues within the room, including "stains on all sheets pillows walls rugs and towels." Concerns were also raised about cleanliness, with a guest stating they "got dirty from a shower." Such descriptions paint a concerning picture of hygiene and maintenance in specific areas, which is critical for guest comfort and satisfaction. The overall environment, therefore, appears to be one of contrast, with positive aspects in public spaces potentially offset by serious concerns in private accommodations.
The "services" provided by the Exton Hotel & Conference Center At Exton receive commendation from guests regarding their event-related offerings. For those hosting gatherings, the "staff was very kind and accommodating for all our various requests." This highlights a strong service orientation, particularly in handling the complexities of family events or conferences. The hotel's willingness to "work really well with all outside vendors for a seamless and fun experience" is a significant advantage for event planners, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative approach. This suggests that for its primary function as a conference center, the hotel's event coordination and staff support services are robust and effective. However, the severe issues reported within guest rooms, such as non-functional alarm clocks, cut cords, non-working outlets, and broken thermostats, point to a deficiency in basic room maintenance and potentially a lack of proactive service to ensure all in-room amenities are functional prior to guest arrival. While the check-in process is described as "quick," the subsequent discovery of numerous problems within the room suggests a gap between initial impressions and the actual in-room experience. The phone number, (610) 363-1100 or mobile +1 610-363-1100, is available for direct inquiries regarding services and bookings.
The "features" of the Exton Hotel & Conference Center At Exton are primarily centered around its dual function as a hotel and a comprehensive event venue. Key features include:
Conference Rooms: A major draw, the conference rooms are described as "very spacious" and highly functional for events, capable of accommodating various setups and working effectively with external suppliers. This makes it a strong contender for businesses or organizations looking for event space in the "Hotels Near Of Me" category.
Guest Accommodations: The hotel offers traditional guest rooms. While a guest noted issues with cleanliness and maintenance (stains, non-functional appliances), the presence of these rooms means the venue can offer overnight stays for event attendees or other travelers.
Lobby Area: The lobby is described positively, suggesting a welcoming entry point for guests and visitors.
Elevators: One review mentioned the elevator being "small" and having "slurs carved into it," which is a serious concern regarding guest safety, cleanliness, and the overall upkeep of public facilities. This particular feature, as described, significantly detracts from the hotel's appeal and raises questions about management and maintenance oversight.
The stark contrast in guest experiences regarding the features highlights a potential inconsistency in maintenance and quality control across different areas of the hotel. While the event facilities may be well-maintained and highly functional, the condition of individual guest rooms and certain public areas (like the elevator) appears to be a significant challenge.
Regarding "promotional information," while no specific current promotions are provided in the given text, hotels with conference centers often offer tailored packages. These typically include:

May 24, 2025 · NathanWe stayed at this hotel for a family event. The staff was very kind and accommodating for all our various requests. The conference rooms are very spacious and they worked really well with all outside vendors for a seamless and fun experience for our party. There were fresh flowers off the elevators on every floor. Elegant touches like that made our stay even more special. Highly recommend this place.
Apr 24, 2025 · mohita patelDO NOT STAY HERE. This hotel is absolutely nasty. The positive reviews are fake. The rooms are dirty, smell like cigarettes, AC is ancient and broken, bathrooms are moldy. We were going to stay here for 2 nights but had to leave after one because it was a health hazard for our baby, and of course we received no refund for the second night.
May 17, 2025 · an kWe were in this hotel on Friday and Saturday 18-19 April for an engagement ceremony. Staff members were very cooperative and courteous. Clean and well organised rooms. I like very much the Pictures of our leaders and words of our constitution in and around lobby. Conference rooms were elegant and very nice.
Apr 27, 2025 · Dr G B BANUGARIAI have stayed in hotels in 10+ countries - some as cheap as $5 a night. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. The entire building reeks of cigarettes, there were large bags of trash, pizza boxes, and other litter in the hallway of my floor, racial slurs carved into the tiny elevators, broken ice machine, etc. My bed was covered in strange stains & pubic hair, shower was moldy, lampshades/chair/other furniture were all filthy. I felt that staying in my room was endangering my family's health, so I left after only one night and would have left sooner if we didn't arrive late at night. I asked to only pay for the night I stayed at the hotel & the receptionist told me she would have her manager give me a call back, but this never happened.
