I was expecting so much more. It definitely was not an upscale hotel. Very disappointed in the price we paid. Parking is not included, you must pay a $40 a day for valet parking. It did have a very large sitting area in the lobby but the chairs appeared old and very uncomfortable, and there was only 1 television at the bar area. On our first night there, I stepped in the shower and slipped and fell barely missing my head on the tile wall. I am thankful for ibuprofen. When my husband mentioned it to the front desk the next morning, they didn't seem very concerned or apologetic for what had happened. It did appear that they had cleaned the shower with some sort of cleaning solution that left the floor very slick. One of the other members in our group stated that he almost lost his footing as well. I am so glad that it wasn't worse than it was. I will say that the beds were very comfortable. We did sleep very well. The location was great. We walked almost 20,000 steps. We were all over the campus I can now say that we have stayed at the Graduate but will never stay there again. There are much nicer, more affordable places to stay in Knoxville.

Apr 09, 2025 · ANGIE SHUMAKEROK, don’t expect this hotel to be really boutique or extravagant like the one in Nashville. This is a very basic style hotel, that shows a bit of charming age. One thing that’s great about it is its proximity to the college and stadium and things like that. I paid nearly $600 for one night and it felt like a $200 a night hotel.. I was curious if I was overcharged, so I checked the prices and they were actually near $1300 for the same night which is ridiculous price gouging. I was expecting it to be a a bit more charismatic, but felt more like an ode to TN orange with Peyton Manning photos everywhere. Also there is no parking so I had to pay an additional $45 for valet. Sigh Color me not too impressed with this hotel, other than it being walking distance to everything on campus. The saloon was mediocre. One of our drinks was quite bitter and undrinkable, but that is probably just the bartender. The food was tasty, yet unoriginal and typical of Sysco restaurants. By the way, it took over 10 minutes for the hot water to become hot in both the shower and the sink. And the toilet also ran for at least five minutes before it fills. Staff was friendly.
Mar 29, 2025 · Lance AllenThe room was okay but tight quarters for even two people and a service dog. Lacked a mini fridge which was disappointing for a Hilton at $200/night on Easter weekend which is a very slow weekend (I should have shopped around. Other sites had a MUCH lower rate.) When I called for the check-in time, I was told to call the morning of arrival and depending on the person working the front desk, I may or may not be able to check-in early. I didn't even try with that attitude. Went for coffee in the lobby in the morning and the person was on their phone. When they finally addressed me, all she said was that the espresso machine was down but they had "everything else" and looked back down at her phone. We went to McDonald's just out in front of the hotel. The location is central to campus though and close to restaurants but for this price and service, I will stay at another property next time.
Apr 21, 2025 · Heather Swift-WoolfA little bit of a hike from the main street in Nashville, but a fun hotel with a lot of charm. Hotel was quiet on our floor, room was clean, fun decor made it feel like a whole experience.
Apr 27, 2025 · K TThis is not upscale. Expensive rate, no free continental breakfast, no free parking (40$ a night) and not even free coffee. Restaurant Bar in hotel is below average . The location is good and the room was clean but needs remodeling. Exercise room is a closet and everything is $$$$. For the room rate not worth it. Stay somewhere else for less expensive and offers more amenities. Would absolutely not recommend!
