Henry Howard Hotel was recommended by a friend who grew up in New Orleans. It did not disappoint! Our room was large and comfortable, though the bathroom was definitely dated. We loved the rocking chairs on the porch, though that meant late night voices in room 101. The staff is lovely, and on-site 24/7. They stored my soy milk in the fridge for me. We loved the bath robes, though there were no slippers. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely love to stay here again!

May 05, 2025 · Bex MeagherThe hotel was beautiful and very clean. We loved the historic element to it and it was a quick uber away from anything we wanted to do. The parlor serving drinks was a very nice touch. The staff could use some additional training for check-in because they seemed overwhelmed, but were still friendly. Tyler, however was awful to deal with and should not be in hospitality. The A/C in our room was not working an instead of providing solutions, he said we do not understand how A/C works. Well the A/C was broke and a repair guy had to come, we then walked into the lobby to hear Tyler talking badly about us. All we wanted was a cool room like the other's in our party staying there. In addition to that, he charged one person in our party $900 at check-in without confirming the charge first. We had multiple rooms booked under one person and she was not supposed to be paying that fee. It was not until he was questioned that the fee was reversed. The rest of the staff we came into contact with was wonderful.
Mar 28, 2025 · Brandy BakerI really enjoyed our stay here. The building is really beautiful and feels so clean usually I am quite picky about the cleanliness of rooms but this one was perfect, the service was incredible, coming back to the hotel to a freshly made bed and all new towels feels amazing. The staff were all really friendly and the pastries that are put out the the morning are delicious. We got one of the small outside rooms but it was perfect for us and it’s quite aesthetic. I do wish there were some milkettes on the little drink table as cream in tea is not the best combination and also the bathroom has pretty bad water pressure but I understand that might be out of the hotels control. I think the bathroom itself isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing but could do with some small upgrades like it would be nice to have somewhere besides above the toilet to store larger toiletries and maybe just a larger shower head even if the water pressure kind of sucks would help! But really I would reccomend this hotel to anyone staying in new orleans
Jan 11, 2025 · Alexia WareWe had an Amazing stay at the Henry Howard thanks to Ash. She made the experience very relaxing and gave us so much info about the New Orleans! We stayed in the King Royal room very spacious and Ash came to provide a turn down service and provided us with the sleep package. 5 stars for great customer service and a great stay!
Dec 12, 2024 · marcus stewartThis was the loveliest hotel stay! I was traveling for work, so in & out a decent bit, but the staff were as warm and accommodating as I’ve ever experienced. Cesar, Angel and Bruce have my highest commendation 🏆☺️ My room was light & bright (but with blackout curtains that they pulled closed during the turn down service). The bed was incredibly comfortable. Really nice extras, like a robe & steamer - wish I had known about that steamer ahead of time! They provide these really yummy, fresh baked cinnamon croissant knots for a quick breakfast bite. I was surprised at how good they were - both sweet & savory but not too sweet which is perfect for me. My only suggestion for an improvement is to add a little coffee maker to the room. I’m not social before having my coffee and had to walk rather far to get 2 hot cups of coffee back to my room. I’m sure they would have helped if I had asked though 😅 I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! The garden district is beautiful and vibrant just like this quaint and romantic hotel. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
