Hilton Garden Inn Long Island City New York

I recently stayed here for twelve nights and I cannot fault the hotel. Wesley on the front desk was always friendly and welcoming as we’re all of the front desk staff. I liked the self scan for the pantry. It made it so much easier to spend the $20 Diamond member credit knowing exactly how much you were spending without the need to bother the hotel staff when they were busy. I hope all Hilton hotels install this feature. The rooms are comfortable and clean. My only negative comment would be that I had a room with a connecting door and I could hear every word said coming from the room next door.It was almost like we were sitting in the same room. If you like it quite definitely ask for a room without a connecting door. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to New York later this year.

Had a great stay here. Room was decently sized and comfortable. All staff I interacted with was very friendly. Room had a microwave and fridge which is always a huge plus in NYC. It was my first time staying in LIC and I really enjoyed it. The area was peaceful with plenty of food and drink spots around. Subway was around the corner and it was a quick 10 minute ride to Manhattan. Tried out the hotel restaurant for dinner one night and it was alright. Had the garden burger which tasted good but was a little dry. Still it would eat there again if I didn’t want to brave the weather. Overall enjoyed my stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this location again.

Great Service and Awesome Meals! I will mention a few staff member which make me feel like family: Mélanie, Elizabeth and Jannelle. There were also some staff members that were friendly, unfortunately I don't know their names. I marked this hotel as one of the best experiences and i will be back!

My family and I had to fly to NYC at the last minute to attend a parent's funeral. We decided to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn for 6 nights and it was the right decision. The location was perfect- one block from the E & R train and a couple blocks from the N, W and 7 trains. The area is very safe with many dining options and cool breweries a short walk away- so different from when I grew up in this area, I did not recognize it anymore! Our room was clean and spacious enough for me, my husband and our adult son. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had plenty of hot water. The beds were comfortable. The hotel itself was safe in that you need to use your key card in the elevator to get to your floor. The room was very quiet even though the the train was nearby. Smart TVs were installed while we were there. Wifi was very fast and reliable. The lobby was large with couches and outlets to charge phones if needed. Hotel staff were very friendly. The printer at the business center was out of toner so they printed the documents we urgently needed for us. We were also able to safely store our luggage at the hotel because we had a late flight. The only thing I wish Hilton would fix is their app for sharing the electronic key, it just did not function, however it worked out ok because we were given physical keys at the hotel as well. I would not hesitiate to stay here again, it was a pleasant experience and good value for NYC.

This is one of the best hotels and locations for getting around the city. I've stayed here a few times for business. It's a 2 minute walk to the subway .Overall, though, I'll keep coming back because of the staff. Wesley was one of the best staff members at the hotel. He helped me check-in and out without any issues. Thanks again Wesley for your help during my stay.
