The young woman behind the desk didn’t have much to say when we walked in and wasn’t super helpful. I think she was looking at her phone. It was almost like she didn’t work there. But everything else was good. The room was nice and clean and spacious, and the view of the city skyline was cool from the rooftop. The train into the city was only a few short blocks away, easy walking, which made going into the city convenient. Great stay on a budget. Would stay here again.

The Dutch in LIC is a particular favorite of mine for several reasons: it's on a residential street and is very quiet; the rooms are very spacious; the beds are amazingly comfortable; the common area on the lower floor is large and has all the amenities (water, ice, extra supplies, luggage storage); and the staff is so courteous and helpful. I highly recommend Sonder The Dutch!

Unfortunately, my past experiences have been marred by poor customer service. However, Sonder stands out as an exceptional and far superior option compared to any other place I’ve visited. We arrived at around 10 p.m., feeling exhausted after a long day. When we walked in, the receptionist, Sergio, greeted us with a warm smile, making us feel safe and comfortable. Sergio patiently explained how the app worked and answered all our questions, making the process incredibly easy. We really enjoyed the view at 6th and 8th floor, and I will definitely come back here when I visit NYC again!
Mar 04, 2025 · threetwohanaLocation is good, even though initially I was apprehensive about it after having just come from The Box Hotel that was of a much higher standard than Sonder. The rooftop view is fabulous but when we came to our rooms the side of the bed was dusty and we had to request on three consecutive days to have it cleaned. The major blow though was my portable monitor was STOLEN from my room with no response from the front desk. Disappointed for the price. I recommend The Box Hotel in Brooklyn, or Moxy in Manhattan.

I truly feel at home there because of her. Rooms are also always clean and with great amenities. It’s a perfect option for working professionals coming to the city.
