Vista LIC Hotel, Premier Collection by Best Western

This was a nice place to stay. Note that it is a 10-15 minute walk from the closest train station (which is fine with us, but just take note of it if you're not someone who enjoys walking). It's not in a super sketchy area which was nice and there are a couple in house dining options. Another thing to note is I used a virtual credit card number to make the initial reservation which caused some issues with check in. They had to refund that card and charge everything to the physical card (despite that it's the same card with a digital security number). Lastly, I have a couple recommendations for the room - a mini-fridge would be nice, as would blackout curtains. Everything else was good.

I stayed there a few days ago with my husband. Our check-in was really smooth and fast, thanks to a young male receptionist. Special thanks to Angel from the reception, she was very professional and friendly. We stayed in a balcony room, and the view was amazing. However, there was an older man with glasses who called himself the General Manager. He asked us so many questions. We came to New York for vacation, and we don’t really like sharing our information with random people. It was really uncomfortable talking to that man. I would say don't forget to visit their rooftop bar, it is so amazing place.

This is a well located and good value hotel - close to a number of subway stations/lines and easy to get to Manhattan. The area around felt relatively safe and there are a few shops/restaurants nearby. For New York, the hotel is really good value. The room and bathroom are decent sized, albeit the rooms are a bit dark. There were good amenities including daily cleaning, air conditioning and a rooftop/terrace. You might be lucky to have a Manhattan view from your room! The staff were helpful when I had any questions. I asked for a fridge in my room and that was no problem. It can get perhaps a little noisy in the hotel because the walls are quite thin and you have the city noise from outside. In addition, the air conditioning is loud too. But I cannot stress that for New York this is a really solid choice for the price.

I had my baby shower in their ballroom and also stayed at the hotel and it was a wonderful experience. Bill and his team were amazing, very accommodating and extremely easy to work with. The front desk was super attentive and the service during the shower was overall amazing. Their ballroom venue is a hidden gem and I recommend anyone that is looking for a space to host a party to use this venue whether it is a corporate holiday party or a social party such as a wedding. The views alone are beautiful and the food was excellent. Could not recommend it enough.

Everything we needed for a short stay! Price was great & there was a fabulous view of the Manhattan skyline & the Queensbridge from our room! There’s also a cool rooftop bar that is definitely worth checking out for an even better view!! Hotel is well located in a quiet area where we felt safe & close to public transport. Special thank you to Rami :) for all the help & being so accommodating even with a late check in! All the staff we encountered were very kind & attentive; would definitely recommend this place!!!
