Jun 09, 2025 · sandeep gunnamI stayed at the Hilton Georgetown and unfortunately lost my ring during my visit. After a couple hours I realized and I went back that same day I checked out , I was told they didn’t find it but then someone called me later on in the day and I was told I could come pick it up the next day or next week. However, they failed to mention that their lost and found closes at 5 PM. I arrived the next day at 6 only to be told the ring was locked in the housekeeping manager’s office and I’d have to return the following day or they could send it if I have them a mail sticker for them to mail it I live 3 hours away, what if someone lived out of state how would they get the mailing sticker to them? However I work and was unable to go until the following week. They said that was fine. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to make it that week, and to make matters worse, I couldn’t get in touch with them because their phone system wasn’t working it would just beep with no voicemail or other way to leave a message. When I was finally able to call again and planned to come retrieve my ring, I was told they no longer had it. No explanation. No accountability. Just gone. So where did my ring go? I’m very upset and extremely disappointed in the way this was handled. I expected more from a Hilton at the very least, consistent communication and secure handling of lost items. The price for parking is meh and the time and way it took for me to get my deposit back was annoying and left my card in the negatives. I will never be returning to Hilton hotels ever again unless somehow my ring is found. Which I doubt it ever will be.

May 07, 2025 · Ashley StarrGreat location... Just a walk to many restaurants, bars and shops. The service was also superb. Every employee made you feel welcome. Super fast room service ( food). The restaurant downstairs is amazing. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay. Only complaint I have is the coffee machine stopped working the second day but we had a coffee machine in the room.
