Hilton has asked me to take into consideration their renovation in-progress before deciding their rating and posting my comments. My previous review is below, yet I am open to changing it once their renovation is complete and they invite me to visit the new experience. ----- I've been to many Hiltons, and usually like their rooms and service. This used to be a desirable hotel, yet despite renovations, it is now more difficult to park, validation takes longer, the staff were absent or not very welcoming, and when attempting to take a photo in the lobby the manager said 'no' and told me it was against Hilton policy. It was not a positive experience.

Jun 02, 2025 · Patrick SchoofThe rooms are fine: spacious and clean. But there are a few big problems with this hotel that make me not want to stay here again. If you have an interior room, you don't have any windows to the outside. Instead, you have two doors. Once door faces a hallway, and the other door faces a central atrium. Not only does this mean that you don't get any natural light, it also means you get noise coming in from the atrium. The walls are also extremely thin. You can hear everything happening outside of your room: kids running around, people talking, and door opening constantly. Finally, the parking is a mess. They charge you $30 a night to park, and the parking lot is not well maintained. Signage is confusing, the spots are extremely tight, and the garage is poorly maintained. Honestly, there's not much management can do to fix most of these problems. The hotel is simply poorly designed. I have no idea when this hotel was built, but expectations and preferences have definitely changes since then.
Mar 30, 2025 · Tim BirbeckI have stayed here oodles of times during my working career as a tour driver and, this was my first for a leisure weekend to celebrate 🥂 my 60th birthday. Great location, clean rooms, quick elevators, easy access to Metro, in fact best of any for that. Definitely going to stay here again in the near future. I think the breakfast included using Starbucks however is not worth the extra money. Nothing is fresh, microwaved food. It's ok in a pinch but, does not meet the price increase for a stay. Hilton, you should offer a real breakfast at that price point for the room. Other than that, great place and staff
Apr 29, 2025 · James ElliotEdit: the response is dishonest and gaslighting, which is what happened when they didn’t have the room type I reserved. I needed 2 regular beds. I absolutely stood in front of you when you offered me a king and pull out sofa. We were there with medical needs, and no one was sleeping on a pullout sofa. That was not an “upgrade” when we needed 2 beds, 2 comfortable regular beds. Just own that you made a mistake and made your honor member move hotels late, before an early morning medical transport, making a stressful situation worse not easier, which is why we even reserved the room. This dishonesty and gaslighting is making matters worse. I didn’t leave hastily. I left upset but not before knowing you had no two beds that I reserved. I lost all the time we intended on saving by getting a room. We didn’t even make it to our room because they gave it away. We were staying to be closer to a very early morning medical transport and they didn’t have our room. We were treated poorly. I will never be back and won’t recommend this place. And I expected more from, and have always experienced better, from Hilton. Beyond disappointed. This caused us unnecessary hardship at a time of medical need.
Mar 18, 2025 · Wendy FrazierFar From a 4-Star Experience!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTING!! I didn’t expect our stay at Hilton to be such a nightmare. We stayed for five nights, and the experience from day one was frustrating and disappointing especially for a 4-star hotel. We checked in around 3 PM on Monday and were given Room “1”. When we returned later, the room was unbearably hot the AC wasn’t working. We called the front desk, and they sent someone to check, but even after an hour, nothing changed. While dealing with the heat, we also needed to do laundry. One staff member told us we needed quarters, while another said we could use our card but wasn’t even sure. He also forgot to tell us we had to get detergent from the front desk, so we had to go back again. They then moved us to Room “2”, but the key card didn’t work. When I told the front desk, the staff member questioned me like I didn’t know how to use it, asking, “Is there a green light?” I said it was red. Of course I know what a working key card looks like so that response was just frustrating. When we finally got in, Room “2” smelled horrible like strong body odor. It was unbearable. So we went back again. At first, they offered to move us back to Room “1” and gave us a fan instead of addressing the broken AC completely unacceptable for a Hilton. They eventually moved us to Room “3”. As soon as we entered, I noticed the in-room phone didn’t work, and right beside it was a pubic hair!!!!! so disgusting. Then in the shower even more pubic hair. We were exhausted and didn’t have the energy to complain again that night. The next day, we asked for another room change. The staff apologized and offered either a refund for one night or dinner on them. We chose the dinner option, but when we told them we were ready for it, they changed their minds and said they’d just refund us instead. Room “3” was also extremely noisy because of ongoing construction. When I told the front desk, their response was, “Oh, you can hear that? That’s from the 8th floor.” I replied, “Yeah, I wouldn’t be complaining if I couldn’t hear it duh.” They moved us to the 8th floor (Thursday) so we have to wait two more nights, which I assume was the best room they could offer but it was still just as noisy because of the construction happening right above or nearby. It was nearly impossible to work or take meetings due to the constant noise. When housekeeping came the next day, I specifically asked them to clean the bathroom. They left towels and facial tissue (only because I asked), but didn’t clean the bathroom and didn’t leave any toilet paper, even though the roll was empty. To make matters worse, there were no basic toiletries in the room at check-in no toothbrush, no toothpaste, nothing. I asked housekeeping, and they told us to go to the front desk to get them. That was shocking. In a 4-star hotel, you’d expect basic toiletries to already be stocked in the bathroom. Instead, we had to go to the front desk every time we needed something, which was incredibly inconvenient. Finally, during checkout, we called the front desk ahead of time to ask them to have our receipt ready because we were leaving early. But when we got there, he hadn’t prepared anything, and only then started printing it out. I asked for our itemized in-room dining receipts, and he said he couldn’t find them in their system they were “missing.” He told us we’d have to call back so accounting can send it. That was honestly frustrating this is the first time I’ve stayed in a hotel where in-room dining receipts weren’t included with the final bill. As far as I know, any charges from restaurant or room service are supposed to be attached to the final invoice when you check out. This entire stay was a mess from the broken AC, dirty rooms, and constant construction noise, to the poor communication and lack of basic hotel standards. I know some staff tried to help, but overall, this was nowhere near the Hilton standard and absolutely not worth the money. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Ever.
