Absolutely stellar hotel! Room was impeccably clean. The breakfast was outstanding! I had never had chicken carnita tacos for breakfast but I hope to have them again someday soon! The ceiling fan got lower and lower as the night went on and eventually stopped and I could not figure out how to turn it back on. But I eventually did. The beds were a little hard for my liking but still more comfortable than most. The water in the shower was SUPER hot and it was difficult to get it just right, but I was quick so it wasn't horrible. Overall, it was a great stay. Clean hotel and friendly staff. Joseina was very engaging and even sent a text after we'd settled in to ensure everything was good and to see if we needed anything. The woman in the front couldn't be bothered to look up but did give us the obligatory 'hello' when we came down for breakfast but never pulled her eyes away from her computer. I noticed she did that to everyone that walked by so it was not just us. She did look like she was in charge because she was showing someone something on thr computer. The kitchen staff were super helpful and ensured everything was hot and available. Thr food was very yummy and they made sure they didn't run out of anything. The location is central to everything in the area. Would definitely recommend. As an aside, definitely check out Smith College Conservatory! So worth it. It is only 15 minutes away and it's free!

Mar 23, 2025 · Raychael Chavez CoombesNice and comfortable rooms and location is excellent although oddly place next to a Home Depot. The only thing I would change would be the breakfast could be stepped up a little bit and the service at breakfast could be also a little better.
Apr 18, 2025 · Peter Coombes1. How is an average hotel in this area so expensive 2. I've been paying $5 per day for "Premium" internet and there is no noticeable performance change. This internet is horrible. $5 a day gets me 15GBPS up and down even at times of extremely low usage but more importantly is unstable over Wi-Fi. It looks like ethernet was run to all these rooms, why can I not use this? Otherwise, not bad.
Dec 09, 2024 · Isaac WaltonUpdated on April 8, 2025 I made a typo about the refrigerator. I originally wrote "The frig was sparking." Yikes. What I meant to write is "The frig was sparkling clean." Also, my original post stated that a pair of earrings was taken from my luggage. I found the earrings - they'd gotten rearranged or shuffled into a different spot in the luggage. Nothing was stolen. Still, I'd recommend using the safe or leaving valuables at home. Stayed August 5 - 7, 2024. Room #208, a King Suite Nonsmoking. Rate $244.02 first night, $215.85 2nd night. Booked through hotel because we wanted the kitchen and king bed, but better rates were available elsewhere for different rooms. The Pros: 1. Location = the hotel is on Route 9. Within walking distance you have an Aldi, Home Depot, Starbucks, Chipotle, and across the highway you have Whole Foods and LL Bean. 2. Safety = the Exits inside are plentiful and well marked. The doors in the rooms have new locking systems. The parking lots have Evacuation points marked with signs. 3. Kitchen = the suites have Frigidaire appliances that are all immaculate. The frig was sparkling clean. Microwave, sink, garbage disposal, cook top, dishwasher, frig. 4. Temp. Control = thermostat to control heating/cooling works well and there's a ceiling fan. We were there on a 91 degree Fahrenheit day and the room was comfortable. 5. Lighting = there are at least a dozen different light fixtures. You can customize the amount and intensity of light. 6. Cleanliness = extremely clean. 7. Kleenex brand tissue, Palmolive dish soap. 8. Toiletries = large pumps are in the shower with body wash, shampoo, conditioner. Large dispenser of lotion on the sink vanity. 9. Room 208 is far from the lobby near the rear of the hotel so it "backs" up to a green space (visible from window) and two flights of stairs get a person with typical mobility quickly to an exit and close to parking. The Cons 1. Noise = while the sound-proofing between rooms is excellent, the noise from the corridor and floor above is extremely loud. During peak check-in hours and when staff are cleaning, it sounds like ponies are running on the floor above. 2. Key cards = the access control readers on the doors are new but finicky. You have to slide your card up over the surface. If it doesn't work, turn the face of the card and try again. We heard several other guests in the corridor (very clearly because the sound carries easily) having trouble with their doors. The key cards and access readers work fine when you understand how to move the card. 3. Doors = the doors to the room don't slam shut, so if you aren't paying attention, you could leave the door open. You have to pull it closed. 4. Phone calls = we stayed 2 nights. On the first night, a person called our room at midnight and did not speak and then hung up. The same thing happened twice the next night, at 9 pm and 11 pm. I have never had this experience in 25 years of travel, in the USA and overseas. It unnerved me that someone kept calling the room and didn't speak. 5. Sofa and mattress = each had some sagging. However, with the high volume of guests this hotel must get annually, the condition was understandable. Mattress comfort preferences are subjective and personal. This mattress felt squashy to me. I prefer a mattress that is more supportive.
Apr 08, 2025 · Sara MolyneuxThis hotel seems brand new - the rooms are very clean, well appointed, and nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable and the linens seem new. But mostly the staff is fantastic! During my stay I became ill and had to take an ambulance to the hospital. Felicia coordinated it and waited at my door until the paramedics arrived. Would love to stay here again when I can enjoy the area, but Felicia is the best! Thank you.
