Jan 17, 2025 · nene kusangiThe Hosteeva property at 341 Bayonne Street in New Orleans is NOT A LUXURY Property (two apartments). It is very poorly maintained with: dirty stained furniture (the beige leather chairs are simply filthy with brown stains on armrests and back padding): stained dirty rugs: a partially stocked kitchen (no wine glasses and incomplete set of miscellaneous plates and bowls for example): broken interior door locks, doors which simply do not open because they are off track, an elevator which has obviously been broken for a while (based on prior posts), no working electrical outlets in the master bath in first apartment, moldy air ducts and intermittent internet every single day as just a few examples. In general, both apartments are run down, dirty and and in dire need of an upgrade. It is clear the owners are not properly keeping the property up, instead doing the bare minimum to keep the place open. You have to walk up 4 flights of stairs to get to upper apartment through a dimly lit hallway. Not ideal when hauling luggage and supplies. We have generally had good experiences with Airbnb in the past but I would not recommend this property. It was a big disappointment for a special family get together. Hosteeva, which markets this property, has tried to be responsive but obviously, it is frustrating to have to deal with ongoing maintenance issues and such poor conditions while we are staying at the property. Renters should proceed with caution if considering this property. There are likely better alternatives to consider.
Oct 03, 2023 · Bill Mohl1014 Canal Street New Orleans - June 2024. Stayed 5 nights, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one shower. Right in our condo was a washer and dryer - lovely to have!!! Due to no detergent, we just used the rinse cycle - purchase if you wanted (convenience stores very close). Quiet overall. Clean condo with a couple bath towels for each person, with small stove, fridge, microwave and fridge/freezer. Cutlery, plates, cups, and skillets provided. Living room area was nice to have as well. Very happy with the location. Just a couple blocks from Bourbon Street, walkable. Also the pick up for the RTA Bus and Street Car was right in front of our building. Highly recommend downloading the "LePass" app to use - we paid $15 for 7 days, but you can also pay for a single day $1.25, 3 days, etc. Very useful! Condo around the corner from CVS, Walgreens, Beer/Liquor store - nice to buy some essentials while there. Would use again!!!
Jun 26, 2024 · Carly ErinaWe arrived to New Orleans on 19 April after 5:00 p.m. At 2:00 pm we received a text from Hosteeva asking the time of our arrival. I didn't think anything of it but then we realized why they had text us. Room 401 was ready at 5:20 pm when check-in time was 4 pm. Understand that i did not get there right at 4pm but the standard and expectation is for the room to be ready as outlined in the agreement. Living room rug was in need of deep cleaning treatment due to how brown/dirty it was. Walls were scratched and marked/dirty. There was gum in the corner of the living room table. Despite renovations, hardwood floors were uneven, sticking up and very squeaky. Also previous customers scratched the floors and nothing was done to fix it (first impressions go a long way). With that said, the entrance of the accommodations had secured access however, the entrance and hallway leading to elevators were dirty. And trash overflow at the entrance made it unpleasant when arriving. Another thing, if you are a light sleeper you may want to look somewhere since they have construction going on across the street and it starts very early. There is no parking for building residents. There is a parking garage behind the building and they charge $20 a day. Positives: proximity to attractions like Bourbon St and French Quarter. Finally, i contacted the customer service line to voice our concerns in regards to the room and our dissatisfaction with the accommodations. First service rep said that the manager was not on site that i would get a call in an hr. Hour passed by no phone was received. Dialed again, customer service rep said that he could not do anything about it until they contacted the property manager and that they would keep me updated. No followup phone call came after that. I sent emails and texts and no feedback. The next morning at 1000 a “site manager” showed up, unannounced. Dont believe every picture you see online. It may not be what you expected!
Apr 24, 2021 · Nitzia MillisI made a reservation to stay at one of Hosteeva’s Luxury condos in New Orleans, LA staying from April 25- April 28 2020. I had to cancel my stay due to the pandemic and the shelter in place in Louisiana, I sent the cancellation on 4/16/20. A representative from the company responded on 4/18/20 informing me that my reservation will be canceled and a traveling voucher will be sent to make a future reservation. On 4/19/20, a representative emailed and said hotels.com will send them the cost of the condo rental an amount for $650.54 on April 25th and it will be converted into a travel voucher and sent to me via email. I received an email from Team Hosteeva saying “ Hi Daron Jones, thank you for trusting Hosteeva! Here is the information regarding your Hosteeva Credit: Amount:$650.54, Expiration date: Without time frame. To redeem please give us a call and provide the following ID: #227078, and our agents will take care of the rest. I called on 5/12/22 to redeem the voucher for a stay next month (June2022) and they told me my expiration date expired and the they will contact management. I got No response on 5/13/22. I forwarded the email sent to me saying that my voucher had no expiration date on 5/16/22. A representative tells me that Covid-19 vouchers are expire per the management decision and we cannot honor it due to the ownership change with the company. I told them this is unfair and they never sent an email about ownership changes or policy changes about vouchers, nothing ! I asked for my money back and that wasn’t an option. I looked up the ownership and it’s the same owner since 2015. I would understand if a notice was sent out saying there was a change in ownership, please use your voucher soon. I received nothing and when I come to use the voucher with no expiration date, all of a sudden it’s no longer valid. Horrible customer service.
