We had an excellent week-long stay at Hotel Provincial. The location is fantastic, just one block off Decatur and two from Bourbon St. Yet, the hotel space was quiet and peaceful. Even the on-premises bar was laid back and not too crowded. The room was large enough, house keeping was top notch, and all the staff were exceptionally friendly. Very highly recommended! One note: French Toast is listed as being the hotel restaurant, but it's off site. And pretty awful. But I won't hold that against the hotel.

Apr 23, 2025 · Ryan FreemanI stayed here three years ago and realized I never left a much deserved five star review; every aspect of the stay was absolutely perfect! The staff was incredible, and as a hotel general manager myself, I have very high standards. The crew was excellent and I would be proud to have any of them at my property. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, and the location is unbeatable. As I was staying in the haunted 500 building, I was curious to see if anything manifested, and was not disappointed when I woke up to all of my devices being completely drained of their batteries. I found this very interesting and I was not remotely upset or inconvenienced by this typical sign of paranormal activity! I can't wait to come back!
Mar 11, 2025 · R SWe visited NOLA on vacation and the location of this hotel was perfect for us, centrally located within the French Quarter and walkable to many local restaurants and attractions. Staff was very friendly and kind as well. The hotel has some very pretty outdoor courtyards where my husband and I enjoyed drinks at the end of the day, and we even saw a wedding one day! Our room was always clean and met our needs. Our two small nitpicks are that our room faced the road and could be noisy due to traffic and loud pedestrians, and the WiFi signal in the room was almost nonexistent. However, we overall enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
May 20, 2025 · JessicaFirst time in New Orleans and we nailed it with our carefully researched hotel choice- Hotel Provincial! Perfect location- in the middle of amazing French quarters but still quiet. Such a friendly, helpful staff right from the start. So charming, with beautiful spaces to rest. Rooms are updated for comfort with comfortable beds and larger than usual bathroom spaces. The AC does what you tell it to do. And we returned each day to beds that were made. Perhaps the only thing I would change is update the tv to a smart tv. But then again- who needs a tv in New Orleans! Best trip ever.
Apr 23, 2025 · Trisha PNice boutique hotel. Clean rooms with character. Easy walking distance to Bourbon street, but far enough away to be quiet for sleeping. Very friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely stay here again. The only reason I gave the room 4 stars instead of 5 was for low water pressure in the shower and a toilet that was tricky to flush.
