The fact that I had to clean my own room when I first booked my stay says that they didn’t have as many renovated rooms as they claim. No problem whatsoever because I wanted to feel comfortable in a clean environment. But with that being said I’m now dealing with other people roaches where rooms have to be sprayed biweekly just to keep the amount of roaches away. But no matter how much I clean and sanitize. The roaches still come. And please don’t ever need any assistance from the night attendant because he will only help you out one time. If you have to call him again. You better believe there will be an additional $10 fee for any assistance from him. And the General Manager is a joke herself with an attitude nastier than the night attendant. I can see why people come and go so frequently. Even if they haven’t stayed their whole booking. But if you are in need of a room with accessibility to drugs. The night attendant who is also the maintenance man got you!!! He sits in his car all day in parking serving people with drug habits!!!!
For individuals seeking "Hotels Near Of Me" in the Forest Park, Georgia area, particularly those looking for extended stay options, the InTown Suites Extended Stay Atlanta GA - Forest Park, located at 363 Forest Pkwy, Forest Park, GA 30297, USA, is a property that warrants a thorough and objective review. As an extended stay hotel, it aims to provide apartment-style accommodations, often on a weekly or monthly basis, catering to guests who require more than a typical short-term hotel stay. However, guest reviews present a highly contrasting picture of experiences, demanding a detailed examination of its actual offerings.
The InTown Suites Extended Stay Atlanta GA - Forest Park is strategically located on Forest Parkway, offering convenient access to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, which is approximately a 19-minute drive away. This proximity is a major advantage for travelers needing long-term accommodation near the airport, as well as those working in the surrounding industrial and commercial areas of Forest Park. Nearby dining options are available within walking distance or a short drive, including fast-food chains and local eateries. The hotel is also within a 15-minute drive of the Georgia International Convention Center and Camp Creek Marketplace, providing access to events and additional shopping. The area is generally suburban, characterized by other budget hotels and commercial establishments.
However, the internal environment of the hotel, specifically the cleanliness of its rooms, is a significant point of contention. While one positive review describes the place as "nice" and the room without problems, another highly critical review states: "The fact that I had to clean my own room when I first booked my stay says that they didn’t have as many renovated rooms as they claim." More alarmingly, the same review highlights persistent issues with "roaches," indicating a severe pest control problem, despite bi-weekly spraying and personal efforts to clean and sanitize. This suggests a fundamental and pervasive cleanliness issue that can significantly impact a guest's comfort and well-being, directly contradicting any claims of "Triple Checked Clean" that the brand might promote. The inconsistency in room conditions means that while some guests may have a satisfactory experience, others could face highly unsanitary living situations.
The services at InTown Suites Extended Stay Atlanta GA - Forest Park appear to be a major point of divergence in guest experiences. On one hand, a long-term guest praises "Jeff" as "so helpful, nice and any problem I have he going to solve it," indicating a positive and supportive individual staff member. This highlights the potential for excellent service from certain employees, fostering a sense of comfort and safety for some guests.
Conversely, another review details severe deficiencies in service, particularly from the night attendant, who is also identified as the maintenance man. This individual is accused of charging an "additional $10 fee for any assistance" after a single initial help, and, more disturbingly, of "sitting in his car all day in parking serving people with drug habits." This allegation, if true, points to a grave breach of professional conduct and potentially illegal activity on hotel property, severely compromising guest safety and the hotel's reputation. The General Manager is also described as having "an attitude nastier than the night attendant," and as a "joke herself," suggesting a lack of effective leadership and customer service at a management level. The implication that "people come and go so frequently" and "haven’t stayed their whole booking" due to these issues points to significant operational failures in managing guest satisfaction and upholding basic standards of safety and professionalism.
Standard services for extended stay hotels, such as weekly housekeeping and on-site guest laundry facilities, are typically advertised by InTown Suites. However, the requirement for a guest to "clean my own room when I first booked my stay" suggests that even basic housekeeping services may not be consistently delivered or maintained to an acceptable standard upon check-in. The front desk office hours are typically limited (e.g., Mon-Sat: 11am-7pm, Sun: Closed), which means assistance outside these hours might be restricted or incur additional fees, as reported.
InTown Suites properties are designed to offer more than just a hotel room, providing apartment-style living with specific features aimed at extended stays. These typically include:
While the stated features align with the extended stay model, the severe negative feedback regarding cleanliness (roaches) and the implied lack of immediate maintenance (leading a guest to clean their own room) cast a strong shadow over the actual functionality and desirability of these features. The presence of "renovated rooms" or "new suites" is advertised by InTown Suites, but the guest experience suggests that these renovations may not be consistent across all rooms or adequately maintained.
InTown Suites primarily promotes itself on its affordability, offering "low-priced weekly rates" and "no lease and no credit check" policies, making it highly accessible for those in immediate need of extended accommodation or on a tight budget. They emphasize the "comforts of home" with apartment-style suites and all utilities included. Promotions often highlight their "New Suites" or "Premium Suites" with "Triple Checked Clean" standards, suggesting a high level of quality and cleanliness.
However, the stark reality conveyed by guest reviews, particularly the detailed account of roach infestations, the need for guests to clean their own rooms upon arrival, and the allegations of staff misconduct (charging for assistance, drug dealing), fundamentally undermines these promotional claims. While the promise of "fully furnished suites," "in-room kitchens," and "super-fast Wi-Fi" at competitive weekly or monthly rates might initially appeal to those searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" with extended stay needs, the severe operational and hygiene issues reported by guests introduce a significant element of risk. For travelers prioritizing basic cleanliness, safety, and reliable service, the reported issues at this specific InTown Suites location in Forest Park should be a major deterrent, regardless of the apparent cost savings. The company's overall brand promise of value and comfort appears to be severely compromised at this particular property.

Apr 15, 2025 · Anita GibsonI’ll been staying here for 3 years now the place is nice and so never have any problems out of no one or my room. Jeff is so helpful, nice and any problem I have he going to solve it I love it here
May 07, 2025 · Gakeisha Brownbroken fixtures, roaches, mold and faulty lighting is unacceptable. Management is rude, unprofessional, and refuses to address these issues despite my weekly complaints about a leaking shower, mold, and a malfunctioning microwave. After contacting corporate, the manager accused me of lying, became hostile, and told me I had to leave, even denying me an alternative room despite availability. Maintenance admitted repair requests aren’t logged properly, and while minor fixes were made, major problems remain unresolved. Management made it clear no repairs would happen until I vacated, which feels retaliatory and unprofessional. The hostile behavior, negligence, and poor conditions here make it a terrible choice. Avoid this property—it’s not worth the stress or health risks.
Jan 14, 2025 · sha'Riya WilliamsI’ve been staying here for a little over 2 years now and never had a problem with anything in the room or with any of the staff the maintenance man Jeff is a cool person and walks around the place to ensure that people are following the rules like only smoking in the smoking areas and cleaning up around the property the manager Chantel is a great person and has always been nice and friendly to me I see a lot of these reviews talking bad about the staff here but from what I see if people would read and follow the rules of this place the staff wouldn’t have to bother you
May 01, 2025 · Michael StanleyThe office management is great , I stayed for about a month the problem is the housekeepers don’t leave any extra towels soap or wash cloths have to bring your own ….. no Big deal the biggest problem at this property is the maintenance team, his name is Jeff , he charges you extra under the table for a room key even if you have it or call him after hours also charges extra for maintenance request , he gets drunk and ride around all night blasting music , he sells marijuana out of room 114 and is very rude a professional extortionist. With better maintenance and a few extra towels , this place has the potential to be a 5 star hotel.
