It's ok, location is nice being that it's close to the interstate. Didn't really like my room Although it smelled clean, it didn't feel clean. Had like a muggy, humid feel in the air. The restroom had that icky feeling to it & I didn't want to (and didn't) use the bath tub. No table, just one chair, old furniture and the bare.minimum. Some guys were being loud and arguing right outside my door. Speaking of the door, it looked like it had been kicked in several times, was banged up and didn't fully close. I could see outside around the cracks in the door frame where.it was supposed to seal closed. Customer service could have been better also. Overall,.the place could definitely use some renovations for the price and get rid of the riff raff.
For travelers exploring options under the "Hotels Near Of Me" category in Atlanta, Georgia, the Super 8 by Wyndham Atlanta/Jonesboro Road presents itself as a budget-friendly choice. Located at 3702 Jonesboro Rd SE, Atlanta, GA 30354, USA, with a phone number of (404) 361-1111 and mobile at +1 404-361-1111, this motel aims to provide basic accommodation at an economical price point. While its affiliation with the Wyndham brand might suggest a certain standard, customer reviews indicate that prospective guests should manage their expectations regarding the overall condition and service quality.
The Super 8 by Wyndham Atlanta/Jonesboro Road is strategically located off Jonesboro Road (SE), offering convenient access to the interstate (I-285). This proximity to major roadways is a significant advantage for travelers, allowing for relatively easy navigation to and from various parts of Atlanta. It is approximately 5 to 6 miles from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), making it a consideration for airport-adjacent stays, though it does not typically offer a dedicated airport shuttle. The hotel's location also places it within reach of attractions like the Atlanta Expo Center (about 0.5 miles), Porsche Experience Center (around 3.1 miles), and Lakewood Amphitheatre (around 5 miles). Other points of interest, such as Zoo Atlanta, the Delta Flight Museum, the Georgia International Convention Center, the Atlanta Aquarium, CNN Center, and the World Congress Center, are also accessible by car, with some being within a 10-mile radius.
However, the immediate environment around the property, as indicated by customer reviews, may not always feel entirely secure or well-maintained. Some guests have reported concerns about the surrounding area and noise levels from outside the rooms, including arguments. The exterior and general appearance of the building might reflect its age, with mentions of parts needing renovation. Parking is available on-site and is often complimentary, a practical benefit for guests traveling by car or larger vehicles. This includes parking for buses and RVs as well. The property is a 2-story building with 73 rooms.
As a Super 8 by Wyndham property, the hotel generally offers a selection of standard amenities expected of a budget motel. These typically include complimentary Wi-Fi access throughout the property and in guest rooms, ensuring guests can stay connected. Rooms usually come equipped with air conditioning, a TV with cable channels (including premium channels), a microwave, and a mini-refrigerator, providing basic conveniences for short stays. Private bathrooms with a shower/tub combination and complimentary toiletries (soap, shampoo, towels, toilet paper, hairdryer on request) are also standard. Other in-room comforts include blackout drapes/curtains, premium bedding, pillowtop mattresses, and down comforters.
Other advertised amenities include a 24-hour front desk for guest assistance, daily housekeeping, and laundry facilities. While some Super 8 properties offer a complimentary "SuperStart" continental breakfast, the specific reviews for this location do not strongly highlight this as a consistent positive. However, official information from Wyndham indicates a free "grab and go" breakfast is offered. The hotel generally allows pets for an extra charge of USD 10 per pet, per night, with service animals being exempt from fees. The property also has vending machines and an ATM on site. For business travelers, a business center is available, and some listings mention meeting rooms.
However, customer feedback indicates considerable inconsistency in the delivery and quality of these services and amenities:
The primary feature of Super 8 by Wyndham Atlanta/Jonesboro Road is its position as a highly economical lodging option. For travelers strictly limited by budget, this motel offers a low-cost place to stay. Its close proximity to the interstate is undeniably convenient for vehicular travel, which can be a key deciding factor for many guests. The presence of in-room microwaves and refrigerators provides some level of self-catering capability, which can also help keep costs down for longer stays.
However, the overall customer experience, as depicted in guest reviews, is predominantly negative and raises significant concerns about the property's upkeep and safety. The recurring themes of uncleanliness, dilapidated room conditions (e.g., broken doors, dirty carpets, filthy bathrooms), and a general lack of comfort are critical deterrents. The feeling of being unsafe due to compromised room security is particularly alarming. While the intent might be to provide basic, no-frills accommodation, the described conditions often fall below acceptable standards for even a budget motel.
The disparity between quoted prices and actual charges, as one customer mentioned, further compounds the dissatisfaction, indicating potential issues with transparency or pricing consistency. The phrase "the place could definitely use some renovations for the price and get rid of the riff raff" encapsulates a common sentiment among disappointed guests: that the price does not justify the poor quality and concerning environment. On review aggregators, the property receives low scores for cleanliness, amenities, and property conditions.
For potential guests searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" and prioritizing the absolute lowest price above all else, the Super 8 by Wyndham Atlanta/Jonesboro Road might appear as an option. Promotional materials would likely emphasize its affordability, convenient location near major highways, and standard amenities like free Wi-Fi and complimentary breakfast (if consistently offered). The target audience would typically be:
However, an objective introduction must strongly caution potential guests. While the "Super 8" brand typically signifies economy lodging, the specific reviews for this Atlanta/Jonesboro Road location suggest that it may not meet even basic expectations for cleanliness, comfort, and security. Any decision to book here should be made with a full awareness of these significant, documented shortcomings, accepting that the trade-off for a low price might be a considerably compromised stay experience. It is crucial for potential guests to consider recent customer feedback seriously when evaluating this property for their accommodation needs.

Mar 28, 2025 · AlishiaVery dirty, the door was “broke into” before. You could lock the door. But the door jam, by the main lock. You could actually see all the way down the door jam to the hallway outside. It was a VERY scary night, didn’t sleep a wink.VERY unsafe property. The bathtub had not been sprayed in MONTHS, the counters were FILTHY and NOT CLEANED, VERY dirty floors etc.My socks were black on the bottom of my feet from taking my shoes off and walking on the carpet! So that means THE CATPET HADN’T BEEN CLEANED OR VACUUMED IN MONTHS!My socks were solid white. So we didn’t even sleep under the covers. The towels were DIRTY and the toilet was FILTHY! $100 for the night at this MOTEL; NOT hotel. The manager was very nice. But I was quoted $66 on the phone and he would not honor it. EXTREMELY disappointed!
Nov 08, 2024 · Chris Schoenhoff!!!!!‼️‼️They have hidden cameras inside the room , they don’t want you to know . This a violation of privacy I’m Sure . My wife saw them with her own eyes . ‼️‼️‼️‼️The man wasn’t aware she came into the office she was standing there in disbelief. Once he realized she was looking he quickly turned the screen off . Also , rooms are in very poor condition has such a horrible . smell .
Feb 12, 2025 · Keesha *Lightworker*It was cheap, but for the condition of the room it should have been half the price I paid. The floor was so dirty we didn't want to walk barefoot. We actually bought a mop and some Fabuloso at a local dollar store and mopped the floor of our room three times before it was close to acceptable. After the third mopping, the mop water was still almost just as dirty as the first time we mopped. Probably would have had to mop a dozen times to really get that floor clean. It was terrible. Also, the white towels provided in the room all had dark stains on them. You could tell they had been washed, they smelled clean enough, I guess, but they looked horrible. We ended up buying our own towels at the dollar store too, and we used them instead of the towels provided by the motel. Also, the other clientele at the establishment were rowdy and loud, and It appeared that some people may have been living there long term. The linens on the beds were clean and the mattresses were comfortable, otherwise I would have demanded my money back and found another place to stay. After taxes, it cost me over $300 to spend a long weekend here. Definitely not worth the money.
Sep 19, 2023 · bryan whislerFirst off, when I checked in I was hit with $100. deposit, go to our room, seemed ok.....the remote control to the TV was broken, the mattress cover was dirty, coffee maker was broken. I could go on but what's the point, nothing will be done about it.
