Wonderful business hotel well suited also for a family stay. We stayed with two kids /11+/ in one room which was spacious enough and had a corner view of obelisk and US Treasury, Pershing square so we could observe DC also from hotel room :) Check in was a bit slow ( I think shift change was underway) but the the room was ready also ahead of check in time. Lobby is huge, spotless clean and porters were very polite and helped us with short term parking before we returned car to rental company. Room was very nice and modern, business style. Hotel lifts are super fast and almost no waiting time. There is a bar in the hotel which is great for drinks as well as market which has a small Starbucks inside. You can do all souvenir shopping there. The location is top of the class. It is one of the closest hotels to White house, literally 2 mins walking. One can get everywhere within 35 mins walk /from Union station - Capitol-Lincoln memorial/ and you do not need a car. That is actually something I love about DC, you can just enjoy it from outside, relax in parks, enjoy museums and great hotel as well. We enjoyed our stay here and definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Apr 27, 2025 · Tomas HusekGreat location for sight seeing in DC. Wonderful staff, attentive and friendly. The hotel is getting older and could use a refresh but was still enjoyable. Only complaint is that there was construction in the adjacent building that started between 4 and 5am. Management should make people aware of this as it only affected some floors.
Jun 05, 2025 · Rachel VarioThis is a nice hotel. You will be comfortable. They have all the basics you may need and a little more. I did not notice anything unique about it and the rooms are somewhat small. It’s clean but it feels a little outdated. Beautiful big lobby. They still have porters (doorman) which is not super common any more but it’s a nice touch. There is a gift shop on property that is also a coffee shop. They have an executive lounge on 14th floor which I didn’t get to visit because it works limited hours (I really wanted to though but somehow my availability was coinciding with their breaks). Rooms service is available. We ordered Pepsi and it came pretty quickly. Fast taxi service, helpful concierge service, helpful polite staff. My room was on the 8th floor had a view on the Washington monument so it was a plus. Fridge available in the room, good AC system. I find this hotel to be comfortable. It’s also not too far from Ronal Reagan’s airport (about 20 mins away).
Mar 21, 2025 · Aleksandra MorelThe good thing about this hotel is the amazing location. We were disappointed in the service, there was no refrigerator in the room, although it was advertised. We asked for it, as we had medicine that had to be in the fridge. Thankfully, after a while we were provided one. We also asked for additional duvets and towels, as we were 4 and did not get those- I had go call 3 times, last time at 11pm and I was told housekeeping is working on it. Did not receive any…and fell asleep at the end without the requested duvets. The Valet parking is outrages, but thankfully we were able to park elsewhere. The room was dated, no hot water in shower (10 floor), no water pressure, no hooks in the bathroom. It is definitely NOT a 4 start hotel. The devil is in the details. Also when checking out no one asked me how our stay was. It looked like they know what the answer would be and prefer not to bother asking and dealing with feedback.
Apr 21, 2025 · Milla ChalamovaWe will never stay there again. There was no safe in our room. I called about that and was promised they would put one in that day. Didn’t happen. Had to speak to a manager. They put one in. Good to know that it is one anyone can pick up and walk out with. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. And we ordered room service and it arrived in a paper bag. Where was the room service cart? Did I mention we were in a suite? Very loud for a private access floor. Definitely not up to JW standards. I do not recommend.
