Excellent option away from the typical hotel. Location was great and overall the space was great. Some work in the basement was loud during the day (I actually worked from the apartment a few days) and the walls relatively thin. However, really cool building and so much better than the normal hotel stay.

Our "welcoming and fully supplied" kitchens are a particular favorite, allowing guests the freedom to cook and dine at their leisure. While the property embraces a digital-first approach with self check-in and a virtual front desk, our commitment to a positive guest experience is paramount. We understand that some initial experiences, like a "musty smell when we first walked in," are quickly remedied by simple actions like opening a window, showcasing our responsive approach. Kasa Downtown Asheville offers a unique and more independent way to experience our beloved mountain city, providing a "really cool building and so much better than the normal hotel stay."

Kasa Downtown Asheville is ideally situated at 42 Furman Ave, Asheville, NC 28801, USA. This prime address places guests in a highly desirable location, offering a fantastic balance between a peaceful setting and direct access to Asheville's most exciting attractions. The property is nestled in the picturesque Charlotte Street area, known for its charming Victorian and Arts and Crafts-style architecture, providing a lovely backdrop for your stay.

For North Carolinians driving into Asheville, our location offers convenient access. While not directly on a major interstate, it provides straightforward routes from I-26 and I-40, leading you into the city with relative ease. A significant advantage for guests is the "free self parking" available on-site, which is a valuable amenity in downtown Asheville where parking can sometimes be a challenge. It's important to note that parking is complimentary but limited (one car per reservation), with nearby street parking available on a first-come, first-served basis if needed.

The accessibility to downtown Asheville's vibrant core is a key highlight. Guests report that while some parts of downtown require a car, many attractions are within a walkable distance. Popular spots like Starbucks and other breakfast restaurants are just a "5 min walk" away. More extensive downtown areas, including "Wicked Weed Brewing" (approx. 15-minute walk), "Harrah's Cherokee Center - Asheville" (approx. 16-minute walk), and "The Orange Peel" (approx. 16-minute walk), are also comfortably reachable on foot or a very short drive. A sidewalk behind the building offers a pleasant route for a stroll or bike ride to the nearby downtown area. This blend of a quiet neighborhood feel with proximity to the city's buzz makes Kasa Downtown Asheville an excellent base for exploring everything our dynamic mountain city has to offer.

Kasa Downtown Asheville offers a distinct set of services and amenities tailored to an apartment-style experience, providing more independence and comfort than a traditional hotel. Our focus is on making you feel at home while you explore Asheville.

As Kasa Downtown Asheville operates as a modern apartment-hotel rather than a traditional chain hotel, its "promotions or special offers" typically focus on flexibility and extended stay benefits rather than standard loyalty programs or seasonal sales. Guests seeking the best rates for Cabin Time should generally explore the following avenues:

  • Booking Platform Specific Deals: Kasa Downtown Asheville units are available on various online travel agencies (OTAs) such as Hotels.com, Expedia, Booking.com, and Kasa's direct website. These platforms often run their own seasonal sales, flash deals, or loyalty program discounts (e.g., Hotels.com Rewards, Expedia Rewards) that could apply to your Kasa booking. It is highly recommended to compare prices across these different sites for your specific travel dates.
  • Extended Stay Discounts: Kasa properties are designed for flexibility, catering to both short and longer stays. You will typically find significant price reductions for extended stays. For example, the pet fee structure clearly shows decreasing daily rates for stays of 7-28 nights, and even lower for 29+ nights. Similarly, the base rental rates often reflect lower per-night costs for weekly or monthly bookings.
  • Direct Booking Benefits: While Kasa emphasizes a digital-first experience, booking directly through Kasa's official website (kasa.com) might offer exclusive rates or early access to new availability compared to third-party sites. It's always worth checking their direct platform.
  • Off-Peak Season Pricing: Like most travel accommodations, prices for Kasa Downtown Asheville are likely to be lower during Asheville's off-peak seasons (typically late fall, winter before holidays, and early spring) compared to the bustling summer or prime fall foliage periods. Mid-week stays are also generally more affordable than weekend nights.
  • Flexibility with Dates: If your travel dates are flexible, playing around with check-in and check-out dates on booking sites can often reveal better deals, especially for stays that span weekdays.

For the most accurate and up-to-date pricing and potential offers, we strongly advise checking the Kasa website directly or your preferred online booking platform for Kasa Downtown Asheville for your specific travel dates. Due to the nature of their business model, direct communication via their virtual front desk might also provide insights into any current unadvertised deals for longer stays.

We loved the apartment. It was clean and neat and well appointed with modern facilities. Showed a lot of detail to design. Kitchen was welcoming and fully supplied. There was a musty smell when we first walked in but soon reminded by opening a window. We walked to Starbucks and also another breakfast restaurant. Needed a car to get downtown to restaurants and shopping..

Kasa downtown Asheville was such a cool little hotel. It was like staying in an apartment and was honestly so much nicer than a traditional hotel. Both my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised. We stumbled across Kasa and decided to go ahead it book it for a weekend. We loved the space, the bed was comfortable, it was very clean. We definitely plan to stay again.

Kasa is the little hotel tucked in a quiet peaceful neughborhood. They are about 1.2 miles from downtown Asheville so it’s about 5 mins drive. The rooms are clean, the bed is super comfy, the kitchen has enough amenities for a quick meal. Within 5 mins walk you can find city bakery, chop shop for wine and deli, bone and broth. However, the hotel is right next to the high way so it can be a little noisy at time but they provide ear plugs and white noise machine to help with better sleep. Besides that, we can’t complain :) good price for our stay.

The location is pretty nice, vey close to downtown and there is a lot of nice food around the area too. The downside is it is near a highway, and the building didn’t have any sound blocking method. We can hear all the talking in the hallway and car speeding from the highway. However they did provided set of ear buds, which didn’t help me at all.
