This hotel is shabby and far from chic. Its poorly maintained and not as clean as it could be. I checked in and my room was quite unsatisfactory! The box spring cover was ripped to shreds and I scratched myself on loose edge banding that had separated on the desk. The tv didn’t work and the furniture looked chewed up. I requested another room and the second room was slightly better but the dressing mirror was missing! When I mentioned it to the desk personnel he smirked and said: It’s three star what do you expect. What I expect is a decent , intact place to sleep. This is also in a area of Baltimore that not the greatest! I would not recommend staying here.

Jun 06, 2025 · My Golden LifeI could not let my recent stay at this particular location go without addressing my disappointment. I checked in on Thursday, March 20th around 7 PM. From the start, the front desk agent seemed disinterested in assisting guests and was difficult to understand. After signing the standard payment or liability paperwork, I left it on the counter and headed to my room, only to later find my signed document still sitting openly on the counter while the agent was preoccupied on his personal phone. This raised immediate concerns about the handling of sensitive guest information and privacy. Once in the room, I found the coffee machine was missing a part and unusable. I called the front desk—no answer. I walked down to report the issue and, the lack of professionalism and attention was unsettling. It only got worse from there. The shower nozzle in my room was loose and I was unable to take a proper shower. I reported it to the same staff member, who simply told me he was clocking out and to tell his colleague instead. There was no follow-through or ownership of the situation. The next morning, I reported the broken shower and asked for my room to be cleaned. The staff member on duty assured me both would be addressed. Hours later, I returned to find that absolutely nothing had been done. No cleaning. No repairs. No note. No communication. As someone who has worked in the hospitality industry for many years, I was shocked by the lack of follow-up and accountability. Eventually, a different staff member who was training someone moved me to a different room. While I appreciated that action, the overall experience had already left a sour taste. I requested to speak to a manager and was told none were available. To sum it up: the customer service was poor, the room quality was lacking, and the location leaves a lot to be desired. I truly wanted this to be another positive La Quinta stay, but unfortunately, this property fell far below expectations. There’s more I could share, but I’ll leave it at that. Very disappointed. — Rob J
Mar 24, 2025 · Rob J. BeasleyThe hotel location was in a great location for walking to several close by businesses. Parking wasn't convenient. My room was very spacious. It had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker! The furniture could be updated. The housekeeping service was excellent. The continental breakfast was enjoyable and all items were always available. I would stay here again. Thank you!
Mar 10, 2025 · J WilkinsThis hotel is awful! Don’t stay here! There is false advertising all over their website. Rooms do NOT look like what they look on the internet, the pantry in the lobby was only stocked with a couple cans of soup and stale candy. In our room toilet was broken and didn’t work properly and got clogged , there’s no plunger, shower was only cold water barley any water pressure at all, there’s no phone in the room and tv doesn’t work… any time you want to ask front desk about something you have to go all the down and speak to their very slow “not sure what they are doing” service! We asked for help with our tv and they said we can get you a new remote but they never returned to our room! sleep wasn’t the best either. Beds are very hard and they give you a little square pillow. Breakfast was trash!! Eggs and sausages looked like cardboard not even being kept warm. There was no juice, no waffle batter, milk looked like it went bad, no hot water for tea/coffee, bagels were a bit stale and the place just smelled terrible!! There were flys and bugs and The parking was very limited with up to 2-3 spots for “hotel guest” however its first come first serve with the rest of the public. Unfortunately Baltimore is a rough and run down city and this just isn’t a nice area.
Apr 21, 2025 · Ethan RadHorrible. No hot water so I couldn’t take a shower last night, not this morning. The staff knew they had hot water issues and should have notified me when I arrived, I wouldn’t have booked. There was no blankets or comforters, just sheets. The pillows were horrible and the room is dirty. Worst experience ever! The elevator smelled like weed and the room next to mine had two very loud dogs barking all night. I will never book this place again!
