A true gem! I have traveled all over the world and I've been telling everyone that this is the most beautiful area I have ever seen. Great looking hotel with its unique decor and furnishings inside. While the outside is the true "star of the show". The hotel is surrounded by stellar and remarkable landscapes that are visible from sun up to sunset. Another highly recommended destination to everyone I can tell about this place. I would be returning many, many times.

Jun 11, 2025 · Pandaboy8925 goatman1Not ok with how the staff have been treating some that have been staying here. You should feel ashamed picking who can and can't have accommodations that come along with staying here. Beautiful place but very disappointed with how you have treated some customers. Serving breakfast in the mornings, telling someone they can't eat even though they have been staying there over a week? I was shocked when I heard this. All I can say right now is do better. I have had a hard time wrapping my head around how disrespectful you have been treating your guests....
Nov 17, 2024 · Stephanie ArmstrongThis is such a great place! Exceptional service. Very clean and comfortable with charm and character you won’t find at other hotels. Beautiful area to explore. AC was kicking. Beds were comfy, sheets soft. No complaints at all!!!
Sep 02, 2024 · Christina WilliamsHistoric. Pristine. Great views. This iconic hotel is perched above lake Junaluska, a center for Methodist congregating. Many reviews mention that this historic landmark seems "dated." It does have smaller rooms and an older style of furnishings. However, it all seems to look and feel like it is either new or freshly cleaned. You know, like a historic site. The service was prompt, friendly and polite. The room was small but fresh. I particularly like the ability to open windows for fresh air. It was cold when we arrived (in July) and took a while to shift. We simply adjusted the thermostat and opened windows. The gift shop was limited and mostly Christmas items. There are a few drinks and snacks but not a restaurant. We had to go out for food.
