Le Méridien New York, Central Park

A very comfortable hotel for a weekend in the city. Rooms were very clean and had a charming ambiance. A little expensive for the size of the room and service. The rooftop bar was very elegant and the Parisian style case was a nice place for croissant and coffee

Review of Le Méridien Manhattan, New York Our family stayed at Le Méridien Manhattan on a recent vacation with our two grandkids, and it was a fantastic experience. While the rooms are small (as is common in NYC), the attentive service more than made up for it. The hotel manager emailed us days before our stay to welcome us and check for any special requests—a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our visit. The staff arranged two connected rooms for us, giving us privacy while the kids had their own space to enjoy, which they absolutely loved. The restaurant downstairs was excellent, and the location is unbeatable—just steps from Carnegie Hall and a very short walk to Central Park. It’s also close to great dining options without the hassle of Times Square traffic. Le Méridien offers a perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. Highly recommended for families!

This is listed as a five-star hotel. The only thing that was five-star about this hotel was the size of the room for NYC. Unfortunately we did not have a great stay here. Noise Disruptions: The proximity of our room to the elevators resulted in significant noise disturbances throughout our stay. The constant operation of the elevators made it difficult to relax and sleep peacefully. Additionally, the room had a connecting door which allowed for noise intrusion from neighboring guests, particularly during late-night and early-morning hours. We could hear our neighbors conversations. Room Temperature: The room experienced a persistent draft, likely due to inadequate window sealing. This resulted in a consistently cold room temperature, making it uncomfortable to stay the first night. We had to get maintenance to fix the seal on the window. As a five star hotel the rooms should not have issues like this. Additionally the first night we did not have hot water while taking a shower, we ended up showering later at night and was able to get hot water. The maintenance staff and cleaning staff were phenomenal however and I had wonderful interactions with them. We will not be staying at this location again. Room was definitely not worth the money unfortunately.

Justin and his team run a great hotel. Very polite and friendly staff and service. Great quality rooms. Excellent location. 10 out of 10. Will definitely return.

The hotel has spacious rooms, but the decor is dated and the lobby is small. We had drinks at the rooftop bar. The service was slow and the bartender didn’t know how make a cosmopolitan. This is definitely not a hip place to stay, but the location is very convenient to many of the attractions.
