Had a great experience. The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly helpful with parking and went out of his way to help us out with drinks when we had an issue with the vending machine. It’s always nice to feel appreciated as a customer. The rooms were very nice, clean and reasonably priced as well. Definitely would stay again.

Dec 06, 2024 · Antoinette CassaroEerily high ceilings for a hotel, the shower took a while to get any hot water, tv barely worked, the doors on the wardrobe were smashed and off the tracks, front desk staff weren’t very nice or attentive, bad lighting, no cutlery in rooms yet there’s a fridge and a microwave, ages from the subway, noisy traffic right outside and kids screaming from other rooms. The only plus was free self service laundry & bed was comfy.
Apr 07, 2025 · Racquelle PerkinsSaul and his entire staff (front desk, housekeeping) go out of there way to make sure your stay is great. This recent visit I stayed 7 nights. Point Plaza Hotel is always my first choice when staying in Brooklyn.
Mar 28, 2025 · Pat CannonI was supposed to stay here for one night but decided to leave after seeing two of the rooms. The first room smelled strongly like food - someone had cooked and not aired out the room. The front door to the second room was loose and moving in the lock and made it seem like it could open at any point. Definitely didn’t feel safe for a solo female traveler. The service at the front desk however was great. They offered to move me to a third room without hesitation but I declined. Overall the hotel was very old, worn out and outdated. There was a strong chemical smell in the hallways, not your typical cleaning product smell though. The first room I had was crammed with one of the beds right in front of the AC. The second one huge with very high ceilings it was cold and the AC/Heat looked dirty, I didn’t want to turn it on and breathe in the air. Both rooms overall seemed cleanish but the floors / carpets/ curtains looked dirty and worn throughout. Based on the ratings online I thought this would be a decent place to stay but the reviews and pictures were definitely deceiving.
Dec 03, 2024 · SarahThe area made me very uncomfortable because the hotel is in the middle of a jewish neighborhood and I felt restricted to that area. The room was small but we did enjoy the kitchen and living room area. The room wasn't cleaned with care, things needed to be wiped and cleaned properly. The breakfast was a bit pathedic with very limited options. The lady in charge of making the bagels had a bad attitude the first few days and she wasn't very personable. She seemed more concerned with speaking Spanish on her phone using her ear buds instead of saying "good morning". On different days I tried the tuna bagel which was absolutely disgusting, the tuna was watery, sour and grainy. The butter bagel which the butter had no taste and the bagel tasted stale, and the cream cheese bagel which tasted sour and runny. All times, the bagels tasted stale and dry. The front desk was very nice, very helpful and very welcoming. The parking lot was an absolute rip off, it was the size of a closet with only room for 3 cars max. The fee is a rip off in my opinion expecially if your not even garunteed parking. Overall we will not be back.
