I liked the concept-small functional room for a fair price. I stayed 8 days with my daughter - the location is perfect. It is close to subway, shops, groceries, nice street food options, city bike station etc. The toilet in the shower is an interesting use of small space, and you can always use the ground floor toilets if you need more privacy. Coffee and tea in the morning is nice addition too. Feels cozy, trendy, relaxed, yet safe. The rooms and the POD in general, are very clean, and it was very quiet which cannot be taken for granted in NY. I would choose it again.

Mar 08, 2025 · Jelisaveta Stankovic-BankaFantastic hotel. Delicious coffee for breakfast, our room was clean and not that small as I thought. We could easily open up our two big suitcases on the floor and was enough space in the shower. Perfectly located, 5 min to metro station that takes to Manhattan or JFK Airport. Staff nice and friendly, particularly young gentleman on the reception with a chequered jacket on morning shifts last week. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again.
Mar 05, 2025 · wmp1717The hotel is an interesting concept, but you have to really buy into it, because these rooms are SMALL. I thought it would honestly be less expensive given the actual space you get. If you are staying in a room by yourself, it's good, but difficult for 2 people. Don't bring two suitcases, I have no idea how you would fit them. When we visited, public spaces (aside from the hallways) were not open after 130pm (when the cafe closes). If you are planning to only sleep in your room, you will be fine. The bathroom space is efficient, but the toilet is in the shower. Maid service was efficient, but there are places in the rooms that weren't fully dusted or cleaned. The location is amazing and there are tons of restaurants, shops, and other amenities close by, as well as easy access to the L train into Manhattan. Location was great for us and the staff were very nice.
Dec 28, 2024 · Rachel McCoolIt's great for the location, you're never going to get a cheaper room anywhere near here. Be aware this hotel makes a citizenM look like the ritz. The toilet is in the shower, you can literally sit on the toilet and have a shower. Staff are fine and the room was clean. Just be aware that the room is very small. I would not want to share with anyone personally as there is very, very little space in the rooms for your stuff. Noise-wise the rooms are quiet apart from the doors, which are sadly not sound-proofed at all so you can hear everything going on in the corridor crystal clear. I could hear someone coughing in the room opposite in High definition.. such a shame they didn't spend a little more money on reinforced doors that are sealed properly to make the room much quieter. Great blackout shutters however and as i say, clean with good hot water and water pressure.
Feb 15, 2025 · Jim ColesConvenient place to stay in a quiet part of New York. The staff is nice and helpful, the rooms are small but contain everything you need. Breakfast options are around the corner, which you can enjoy with a free coffee in the rest area in the hotel. Be sure to walk to the pier in 5 minutes to check out the sunset and watch the skyline by night.
