Location is good in Williamsburg and food and drink options in the hotel were fantastic. The rooms and staying experience, however, were awful. You can hear everything throughout the floor, outside, and in neighboring rooms. The rooms are very small- not enough room to comfortably accommodate 2 people. Do not come here for a relaxing stay, particularly over a weekend. Any complaints will not be welcomed or resolved by staff and management (I attempted several times before writing review). Do not recommend and won’t be staying here again.
Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the Wythe Hotel offers a unique hospitality experience combining industrial aesthetics with modern design elements. Situated at 80 Wythe Ave, this hotel is centrally located near key attractions such as the Brooklyn Bridge, making it an ideal base for both tourists and locals seeking a trendy accommodation option.
Known for its distinct style, the Wythe Hotel features well-maintained rooms that reflect an artistic flair. The property also serves as an event venue, providing spaces for gatherings, weddings, and other celebrations. On-site dining options include a bar offering creative cocktails and a restaurant serving New American cuisine, complemented by nearby food establishments that cater to diverse tastes.
Guests appreciate the hotel's convenient location and vibrant atmosphere, often describing it as perfect for exploring Williamsburg's cultural scene. However, feedback highlights several drawbacks: rooms are notably small and noisy, with poor soundproofing leading to disturbances from both neighboring guests and external sounds. Additionally, in-room amenities like coffee, tea, or hot water are absent, with limited access during restricted hours.
In conclusion, while the Wythe Hotel offers a visually appealing and centrally located option in Brooklyn, its shortcomings in comfort and service make it less ideal for those seeking a tranquil stay. Potential guests should weigh these factors carefully based on their needs and expectations.

Apr 02, 2025 · JeffThe rooms are very pretty and well maintained. The nickel and diming is ridiculous- despite an abundantly stocked mini bar ($$$) there is no in-room coffee, tea, or hot water source. The front desk explained they have free coffee on request at the front desk only before 7am (when the restaurant opens). Requests for early coffee resulted in 1) a room charge when it was a couple of minutes past 7 and 2) being told each guest needed to come down to request their free coffee separately - my guest could not bring up 2 cups. Rather unnecessarily rude, especially considering the rooms are $600/night.
Mar 31, 2025 · Alissa GlennSpent just one night but it was lovely. Outdoor patio. Wonderful shower. Excellent service. A very worthy bar with a Manhattan skyline view upstairs and a first rate restaurant downstairs. We took advantage of both. But also plenty of other worthy and interesting places walking distance away to explore. Our new goto hotel in Brooklyn.
Dec 30, 2024 · John O'NeillThey didn't know it, but this hotel helped to save our honeymoon! We were having a terrible experience in a nearby hotel that sounds like "The Million Dale". We're locals and just wanted a mid-week, mini honeymoon staycation in a luxury hotel, and we had one more night left and didn't want to quit and go home. The photos of the rooms here looked very nice online. It was 1pm and were worried that we wouldn't be able to get in until 3pm when most hotels have check-in time. The receptionist was amazingly accommodating. She said "Let me see what I can do. Can I call you back in 5 minutes?" and then called us back almost exactly 5 minutes later. She gave us a free upgrade to a slightly better room than the one we requested. It was a corner terrace deluxe king. She knew part of our issue had been construction noise, so she made sure it was a quiet floor. When we arrived, we were greeted very warmly by helpful staff. The receptionist gave us 2 free drink tickets for the bar. When we went up to the room (which looked exactly like the online photos) there was a beautifully-written note telling us of a free mini bottle of champagne in the mini fridge. There was also a free branded tote bag hanging on the dining chair. With just a little extra effort and consideration, the staff at the Wythe turned our entire experience around! We would definitely stay here again. We never even told them we were on our honeymoon! I only have 2 minor suggestions. One is that there isn't a comfortable place to sit. There's a dining area to eat at, which is perfectly fine for room service or delivery. But the chairs are metal. The bed's headboard isn't padded at all. So, it's a little uncomfortable if you want to watch a movie. A couple of armchairs, a padded headboard, or extra throw pillows would make the space perfect! And while the room and floor were very quiet, the doors of other rooms are quite loud when they close. Not sure if they can be adjusted, but they were a little startling at night. Still though, two very minor complaints. Aside from those small things, we absolutely loved our stay here. We'd like to come back when it's properly spring to better enjoy that private terrace. Thank you!
Mar 07, 2025 · Danyell ThilletWe cannot say enough kind words about how amazing our event was at the Wythe. JD, Cassie, and the entire events team were amazing and delivered a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Plus the rooms, restaurant, and vibe are pretty cool too!
