Loved this place so much. Almost bummed I’m moving back to NYC and won’t need to stay again. Will be recommending to all my friends who visit. Great staff. Comfy rooms. Love the little kitchenette setup, the Fellow Kettle, and that there was an umbrella and a foam roller! I will say if you have any scent sensitivities, definitely bring your own products. The soap and lotion were allergy inducing

Mar 28, 2025 · Roxanna ReavesVery good customer service. I went here last week. They upgraded my room. The room was very clean and comfortable. And the customer service people behind the desk were helpful and friendly from check in to checkout. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Brooklyn again There's also a restaurant available. I didn't check it out but it's neat that there's food available if you need it And I really like the art in the hotel and bedroom
Mar 06, 2025 · Roman mercedes MorenoI stayed at the Penny this week sort of on the fly, the Airbnb I had booked was not working out well, and I just headed over to this hotel very nearby. It was excellent! It has a beautiful rooftop view to go along with very comfortable and quiet rooms. The rooms are small, but very efficient and comfortable. Their restaurant also serves excellent food, Mexican tacos. I’m from Texas, and these were not the same as our usual food, but very, very good. First time I’ve enjoyed this type of food in New York! :-) I will be back to the Penny, I recommend it to you wholeheartedly! Thanks team, you made my stay wonderful.
Mar 12, 2025 · Kristin TesmerI stayed at The Penny Williamsburg for a quick work trip. It could not have been a better spot and I hope to return for a more leisurely stay in the future. The best way I can think to describe my stay was the perfect balance of coziness and sophistication. I stayed in the smallest room option, with the bed up against the wall. I loved it! After a day out in the cold city, snuggling into the corner bed was the perfect way to unwind. The room was clean and beautifully appointed with vibrant, joy-inspiring art and design features. Every detail has been considered, with careful and clear instructions posted for the amenities and thoughtful in-room items like robes, necessary toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, lotion, cotton balls), personal wellness items in-room (yoga mat, foam roller, and yoga block), luggage rack, extra chair, fresh Cara Cara oranges, and pour-over coffee. The shower was hot, the room temperature control was excellent, and the bed was hands down one of the most comfortable places I've slept while traveling (from the placement in the room to the linens, mattress, and pillows). Outside of the room, the hotel was well-appointment with joyful, colorful design. The upstairs restaurant should not be missed! In the evening, you can enjoy a delicious selection (including vegetarian-friendly options), and during the morning you can relax in the space and do a little work, reading, etc. I can't express how beautiful the space is, and would love to return during NYC's warmer months and take advantage of the stunning rooftop patio. This spot also offers gorgeous views of the city. Beyond the room and amenities, the hotel's staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly.
