Disappointed, I spent 3 days trying to find a hotel in the Philly area that wasn't 200+ a night w an indoor pool so my grandson and I would have something to do while the others were at a concert. I CALLED BEFORE I LEFT , for a 6 hour drive the pool was open. Got there front desk gave me pool arm bands and said yes we could swim. Went to the pool, CLOSED. Went back down oh it'll be open at 7am. Called desk at 830am. She said will open at 12 . Check out time! So I take the kids to the arcade at 938am. Sign says opens at 9am . Well it wasn't, ask the front desk she shrugs her shoulders. I realize that there is construction but come on. Out and out lied to me. Yes the renovated rooms are nice. But there's NO dresser. And the lighting is horrible we had to open the blinds to see in the room. There is a stool and 1 chair. The beds were hard and pillows were tiny. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement

It caters to various types of travelers, including those on business trips, families, and individuals attending events, by offering diverse amenities and a strategic location.
Environment: A Suburban Location with Ongoing Evolution
The Radisson Hotel Philadelphia Northeast is situated in Trevose, a suburban area northeast of Philadelphia. This location provides a different atmosphere compared to downtown city hotels, often appealing to those seeking a quieter stay while remaining accessible to Philadelphia's main attractions and business centers. The hotel is conveniently located off a major highway, Old Lincoln Highway, which offers relatively easy access for travelers arriving by car. The external appearance of the hotel can look "promising," and the first floor may also present a favorable initial impression.
It is important to note that the hotel has been undergoing "renovations in progress," as indicated by signage and guest feedback. This suggests an evolving environment, aiming to modernize its facilities. While renovations typically lead to improved aesthetics and functionality, they can also cause temporary disruptions or limit access to certain areas, which is a factor for potential guests to consider. The immediate surroundings offer a typical suburban commercial landscape with various businesses and other amenities within a reasonable driving distance.
Services and Amenities: A Mix of Offerings and Areas for Improvement
The Radisson Hotel Philadelphia Northeast offers a range of services and amenities typically expected of a hotel in its category. These include an indoor swimming pool, a restaurant, a bar/lounge, a fitness center, and meeting facilities. The presence of an indoor pool is often a key attraction, particularly for families, as it provides a recreational option regardless of weather. However, recent guest experiences indicate that the availability and operational hours of the pool can be inconsistent, with instances of it being closed despite prior assurances. Similarly, an arcade is advertised, but its operational status may vary, causing disappointment for guests expecting specific recreational activities.
The hotel offers both standard and "renovated rooms." For those that have been renovated, guests acknowledge that they "are nice" in terms of their refreshed appearance. However, even in renovated rooms, some functional aspects have been noted as suboptimal, such as a lack of dressers, poor lighting requiring blinds to be open for visibility, and limited seating (a stool and one chair). Comfort aspects like bed firmness (described as "hard") and pillow quality (described as "tiny") have also been raised as concerns. Non-renovated areas, specifically bathrooms, have been described as "dated at least a decade," with issues like "brown stained tub" and "cave-in of the middle of the tub." The quality of towels has also been critiqued, with suggestions to "bring your own towels unless you want to exfoliate your skin while drying off."
The hotel offers free WiFi in rooms and common areas, which is a standard and essential amenity for most travelers. On-site dining is available at the hotel's restaurant. However, one guest noted avoiding the restaurant due to concerns about cleanliness elsewhere in the facility. Other amenities include a 24-hour business center, a lobby with a fireplace, and a 24-hour front desk to assist guests. Complimentary self-parking is also provided, which is a convenient feature for guests traveling by car.
Features: Business and Event Capabilities, and Pet-Friendly Policy
The Radisson Hotel Philadelphia Northeast is equipped to host various events and business functions. It boasts a large conference center and meeting facilities, suggesting its capacity to accommodate corporate gatherings, banquets, and other events. This makes it a consideration for local businesses or organizations seeking event space near Philadelphia.
Another notable feature is its pet-friendly policy. While specific details on fees or pet types are not provided in the given information, the allowance of pets is a significant advantage for travelers who wish to bring their animal companions, making it a relevant option for "Hotels Near Of Me" searches with this specific filter. This policy broadens its appeal to a wider range of guests.
The ongoing renovations are a key feature to acknowledge. While they aim to improve the hotel's offering, guests should manage their expectations regarding the state of facilities and potential disruptions. The hotel operates with a focus on providing a foundational set of services for both short and longer stays, including express check-out options for efficiency.

May 06, 2025 · Marcy MedleyThis was a short notice business trip. The client's location was within a few miles. This was the client's recommendation. All future travel dates for this client will NOT include lodging here. There are roaches. I kept my items in the suitcase for this brief stay. The bathroom is dated at least a decade. The cave-in of the middle of the tub can be scary since it's unexpected. The brown stained tub was the warning I suppose. Bring your own towels unless you want to exfoliate your skin while drying off. Bed hard as a rock. I felt the linen and slept on top of the flat comforter with the spare blanket. Restaurant, didn't bother since roaches were present in the facility. From the outside looks promising. So does the 1st floor. There are signs renovations in progress.
Mar 29, 2025 · Marie HLet's start off with the breakfast not being FREE! With the price of the room the so called subpar buffet should of been free$ $18.55 per person overcrowded room. The so called complimentary coffee no milk coffee curdled coffee grinds and hair at the bottom of the cup disgusting. The pale face lady with the big teeth at the so called buffet was rude and need to be fired! The bathroom shower roof was leaking not enough towels no wash clothes. Tried to use the little coffee maker in room looked to not been cleaned in months or maybe years! The lady that never leaves at the front desk was not nice or accommodating at all. The pool suppose to be open at 9am some person that looked suspicious came to open the door and then closed the door in my face. The people that work here look suspicious and criminal I was afraid for awhile. The person that put the chlorine in the pool water told me to wait 2 minutes to go in I believe he told me to go in too soon before the 2 minutes because I am having some allergic reactions. Will be consulting with a lawyer! Overall bad experience here will never return will not recommend to stay here. Will be posting more reviews on this place. The only microwave in the building was disgusting and dirty. Water all over by the washing machines
Jan 01, 2025 · paish paishI'm rarely taking hotel and that's is another reason why I don't go rest a lot in hotel. The bathroom door doesn't even lock even if we are trying our best to make it locked. Furthermore, in another hotel room, there were what's looked like poop in the bath. Secondly, the air conditioning was a big puzzle, it was which cold or hot, nothing in between. It was intolerable especialy during the night, even with our blanket. To finish, the breakfeast was just a danger for our health. I had the impression that I was eating concentrated salt and dangerous chemicals, like with the pancakes who tasted like metal and the sausage who was so oily that I took 5Kg just by watching it. Take this hotel in case if its your last option. Other then that, dont come here
Apr 05, 2025 · Viktor Payant (SirCatFish)Great Service, nice amenities. Rooms are being updated so that factors into the rating. Once they are done I believe it is a great value for the area.
