The design of the central open air courtyard with pool with wrapped rooms leads me to believe that this was obviously a pretty good motel back in its day sitting alongside some iconic businesses. In 2025, this is a run down, poorly maintained hotel. Originally, I was booked for 2 nights. I opened the door to my room, looked around and immediately rebooked the second night elsewhere. Too tired to leave and slept in my clothes. Why you might ask? The room smelled of old wet carpet (hallway of old cigarette smoke), the carpets were absolutely filthy, bedsheets were worn starting to get holes, some old staining, with some little dark bits?!, the furniture is worn with missing finish and sticky (that’s the picture showing the drawer handle), fixtures and wallpaper were coming off the wall, toilet seat broken, noise (talking/doors) from the hallway traffic going to the lobby and parking lot. One positive is the secondary door lock was substantial. The breakfast buffet was disappointing but not unexpected given the overall vibe. Steamed scrambled eggs, the usual stuff. The one orange I grabbed was rotten! 1 ⭐️

The hotel is located in the Dorchester neighborhood, an area that offers its own unique character. While some past reviews have mentioned concerns about the immediate area, the hotel's proximity to public transport stations like Ashmont/Peabody Square, Shawmut Subway Station, and Fields Corner Metro station further enhances its accessibility to various parts of Boston. This means guests can choose to navigate the city using the MBTA Green Line and Commuter Rail, potentially saving on parking and avoiding city traffic. The design of the hotel, with its central open-air courtyard and pool, suggests a property that once aimed for a pleasant leisure experience, providing a somewhat self-contained environment. The hotel is also near the Neponset River, with some rooms potentially offering views of the surrounding area.
The Ramada by Wyndham Boston aims to provide a comfortable and functional stay with a range of standard hotel services. As a Wyndham property, the hotel often participates in brand-wide promotions. These can include discounts for Wyndham Rewards members, often offering savings of 10% to 20% depending on the length of stay (e.g., 10% for one night, 15% for two, 20% for three or more consecutive nights). These rates are typically non-cancelable and non-refundable. Seasonal sales and travel bundles, which combine hotel stays with flights or car rentals, may also be available through the Wyndham website or booking platforms. While the hotel generally maintains competitive pricing for the Boston area, checking "Hotels Near Of Me" and the official Ramada by Wyndham website for current offers is highly recommended to secure the best possible rates. It's important to note that while the hotel offers a convenient location and essential amenities, recent customer reviews suggest that the property is aged and shows signs of wear, particularly in terms of room condition and cleanliness. May 09, 2025 · Douglas Craig SmithLocation is tremendously convenient. Lobby and library very nice Breakfast options were Great! Downside - hotel is aged and shows it. For the price / I expected better. But hey - it’s Boston so maybe this is reasonable price ? Brought a pet. All good with that. No problems. Lab dog
May 21, 2025 · Robert WyattHad a late flight arrival and just wanted some place to crash before heading on to my final destination. The rooms are adequate, the HVAC was a little noisy, but all in all a reasonable place to stay. Great service from the check-in guy at the front desk
May 08, 2025 · Wendy KrehbielWe were flying out of Logan on a Saturday morning. The Ramada's Park Before You Fly package was great. The staff was friendly, our room was clean and comfortable, and the shuttle to and from the airport was convenient. A breakfast was included with our stay as well, which offered a variety of hot and cold dishes.
Apr 20, 2025 · Jennifer WelchOld motel that is showing it's age. Customer service needs improvement. Airport shuttle driver is cool, but I waited for more than an hour because the front desk doesn't listen or take notes evidently. Definitely not worth the price you pay. Don't even get me started on the marijuana smell at the back of the place, which is where they stuck me. Drifting up to be pulled into the air conditioner, so it smelled like someone was smoking in my room. Terrible.
