We stayed here two nights, a group of 56 (51 high school students/5 adults) on a 3-day trip to New York. The rooms were nice, comfortable, clean, in good shape, and having a micro fridge was really convenient. The staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful. Our tour company had arranged for two breakfasts at the hotel for our group, and the food was surprisingly good--fruits, cereal, juice, bagels, muffins, scrambled eggs, sausages, country potatoes, coffee. Service was excellent. Location was perfect, not *too* close to the city so as to be annoyingly loud, but not so far that we had a long bus ride at the end of the day. Bed was really comfortable--I normally don't sleep well in hotels and I think it's usually due to mattress quality. I slept like a rock both nights. Didn't get to take advantage of any of the amenities (business center, restaurant, pool?, fitness center, but if they're anything like the treat of the hotel I'm sure they're great. 10/10 would stay here again.

Apr 10, 2025 · BreeAnne CThis place is modern, crisp, very clean. It is in our upper range for price. I will always object to not being provided a free cup of coffee in the lobby. There is a tiny coffee machine in the room however. I feel nickeled and dimed being charged to park, especially at the price of this hotel, parking costs $11/day. Having said that… Our room 313, was a king, and it is spacious, clean, comfortable. The bathroom is modern, crisp, and also spacious. I say this because every member in our family is over 6 ft tall and it is just nice to have some space when traveling. This room has a patio door that opens. Here you can tell that this hotel had an interior facelift, the patio door screen has aged off of its frame and has a hole at the bottom. The window is filthy from the outside, but hotel is right off a highway and this is probably explains it, also you can hear the highway from this room but the noise is not too bad. One might never need to open the patio door anyway, the thermostat/ HVAC works fine. The gym is spotless, modern, several treadmill, other machines too, there are free weights and a yoga mat. With respect to location. What I like about this hotel is the bus stop literally 250 ft from the front door. One can take the 190 bus straight to Port Authority NYC. Also, there are two dog parks in close driving proximity. There is a restaurant in this hotel, we did not eat there. This hotel hosts a comedy club called Bananas. There is a water bottle refill station back by the rest rooms. This hotel’s staff is outstanding. Lenetta feels like a personal friend. I think I booked here because she took my call when first inquiring about the hotel. She speaks candidly and knows volumes about the area. When we tried to stay longer Lenetta tried everything to find space, but it is spring break and buses of high school kids have filled the entirety of the hotels in Rutherford and Secaucus to explore NYC. Other staff were outstanding too. When I needed a piece of homework and a permission form printed, a young lady at the evening desk (I’m sorry I don’t remember your name) did this for me during a period with several guests in line and Bananas, well, going bananas. I don’t give out 5/5 rating easily but Lenetta and this young lady warrant it at the Renaissance Meadowlands Hotel.
Apr 01, 2025 · samakobuWe had a wonderful stay here. The staff was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to make our trip perfect. The woman who works in the concierge lounge was so extremely helpful as we had our hands full with our baby. She was extremely sweet. The rooms were clean, and the restaurant was lovely. Will definitely be back!
Mar 10, 2025 · KimberlyI am here now and having a lovely experience. I checked in with Ivy ( i hope I spelled it correctly) who is wonderful and welcoming. She was very attentive and a joy to talk to as my first point of contact. Rooms are clean. Food is great! It is close to the convention center and I would stay here again.
Apr 08, 2025 · Karla JonesI am a corporate flight attendant. I have been staying here for the last 3 years of my career. This place is amazing and the customer service at the front desk is very professional. Especially Frantz, he for all these years has made comfortable, home away from home. Kudos to you. Wish every place I got to had a person as accommodating as you !
