Indeed, a wonderful location: close to many point of interest, near metro, yet it is quiet. Excellent front desk customer service. The interior of the hotel and the rooms are a bit dated but clean and supplied with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable and our room was spacious. Breakfast was good but particularly memorable were people serving it: quick, with a smile, professional. Bottom line: this is not a place for a "romantic getaway", it is not a "hidden gem", either. However, it offers excellent service, central location, comfortable rooms at a reasonable price.

Mar 04, 2025 · Dmitri KisselevThe staff was great. The breakfast was great. The room was nice but it was way too hot in the room with no way to cool it. With the windows open, it would cool a bit, but then there is the garbage truck at 4am with the backup beeper for 5 minutes straight. The location is great if you're doing things around GW University, but it isn't super convenient to the mall, museums, and especially dining. It's like a food desert!
Mar 12, 2025 · AndrewI stayed in this hotel for two months and had no complaints. I was disappointed to come home and realize I had contracted ringworm from the bedsheets. I called customer service, expecting to be met with eager kindness and compensation since I had only good experiences with the hotel up to this point. Unfortunately, my issue was met with apathy and the statement that the only way I could be compensated is if I opened a medical claim. I am recovering with simple over the counter antifungal cream and so this would be a waste of my time. As a platinum Bonvoy member, I was surprised that nothing else was done to try and ensure my future business with Marriott. Nevertheless, my compliments to all the kind people working at the hotel during my stay. I'm bummed to leave this review.
Apr 29, 2025 · Madelyn BeachamLocation is excellent, just two minutes from Foggy Bottom metro. You also have a Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s within walking distance. The room has everything you need, including a kitchen area (microwave and hobs). The bed was comfortable, although the pillows are very soft. One very strange choice is in the bedding. The duvet is not put inside a case, instead a sheet is loosely wrapped around it, resulting in everything coming off during the night. This should be changed for sanitary reasons. For an American hotel the breakfast was good, hot items and cold, with decent coffee. I did have some problems with the heating system, it stopped working at some points, but it was always fixed very promptly. Staff are polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Feb 21, 2025 · JonathanShame on you. No parking. You make us park 25 minutes away and he parking garage didn't open until 800am. The least you could have done was comp the parking for the incovinecce. The Marriott brand is better than this. Would never stay at this location again
