Stayed in this hotel with my family twice before , small issues were there but acceptable… this time was different Upon arrival we had to struggle with entry lock set , it was loose and had some tiny screws drilled in to hold it together , then the dryer - not working with code saying - Overheating - Means lints were beaver cleaned , and the smell that hits you when you open the closet - Awful , fridge with busted icemaker and filthy , coffee machine wants to fall apart and someone dumped coffee where water supposed to go so that became useless too since no one cleaned it … then the shower , tub spout pull didn’t hold so almost no pressure from the showerhead with half of water spraying out from faulty tub spout , 2 Minutes in - and tub started filling up due to clogged drain- great , then the toilet in powder room - rocking in every direction - insane All started with bedsheets that looked like never been changed - we found hair and weird debris So we washed them to learn dryer is busted I call the management - all apologetic offered to move us to another unit - awesome - So we went to check before deciding to drag all of our stuff Guess what - dryer busted - they said we will fix it tomorrow and move you Great! That can work 3 days later and nothing happened , no more offers to switch apartments , not one issue addressed and it stared to rain With rain we learned the wall is leaking water inside leaving entire carped soaked and massive mold and mildew stains that hotel covered with newspaper stand I was livid ! To place family with children in mold infested space ? I called I wrote - no response So now I will sue for putting my family and kids in danger of being infected with mold that can lead to serious health issues !!! And for four days my children were breathing this !! Oh and save your fake response Roami !!! You’re The worst type and there’s nothing you can say to make this right now I gave you way too many options and you ignored me People stay away !! This is a nightmare!!
For those of us in Louisiana who frequently visit New Orleans, or for families planning a longer stay, the appeal of a spacious, home-like accommodation over a traditional hotel room is often undeniable. This is where Roami at Motorworks steps in, offering apartment-style living in a prime location that promises comfort and independence for your Crescent City adventure.
Roami at Motorworks provides a modern living experience within New Orleans' bustling Arts/Warehouse District. This property is designed for guests who desire the flexibility of a fully equipped kitchen, in-unit laundry, and ample living space, alongside access to communal amenities. Roami at Motorworks is strategically located at 822 Howard Ave, New Orleans, LA 70113, USA. This address places it firmly in the heart of New Orleans' dynamic Arts/Warehouse District, an area known for its vibrant cultural scene, historic architecture, and proximity to major attractions. The in-unit washer and dryer are invaluable, especially for families or for extended stays where you want to pack lighter. This setup truly allows you to live like a local, settling into the rhythm of the city at your own pace.
Furthermore, the location in the Arts/Warehouse District is excellent. Feb 20, 2025 · M DUnfortunately, after two previous awesome stays, I’m forced to leave a negative review after a nightmare of an experience. I booked directly with Roami for a concert, expecting a great room at an amazing price. It should be noted that I was with a total of six guests who all booked with Roami. We initially wanted to be together, but we understood that it wasn’t possible due to limited room availability. I personally booked a 1-bed with a loft and a fold-out. When I arrived, I was placed in a 3-bed flat, which was not my initial booking. Another party I was meeting was stranded in the hallway because their room was out of commission. Given that more of the group members were with them, the staff arranged for them to take our room, as I only needed space for one guest in my party. It should be noted that the 1-bed with a loft was a more premium room than the flat. As we worked out the logistics for the room swap, the staff had me call the customer service line for accommodations, and then he disappeared. Customer service ultimately told me that Roami had no rooms available at any of their various properties in New Orleans. I was given a full refund and forced to find alternative lodging at 8 p.m. on a Saturday. I was in line for a popular concert while speaking with customer service and searching for suitable accommodations. Unfortunately, I had to settle for a place well below my standards. The next day, I attempted to call Roami to see if they could accommodate me with any available room for one day due to the inconvenience, and their answer was a firm no. As a repeat guest, I was completely disappointed in the customer service. The group I was with booked two other rooms with Roami based on my recommendation, and my trip ended up being disastrous.
Nov 10, 2024 · Blacktie BrownHad a issue with the pipes, however the host respones immediately. Great place, location and all around experience. Will definitely stay again. 102 the loft is awesome
Dec 31, 2024 · Brandon GuthrieOur first room (301) had a broken toilet, missing bedroom door handle, not enough dishes for four guests, missing blinds on one window facing the street, damaged blinds on all other windows. The sofa couch was terrible to shoot on. There are not enough seats for four people. The foyer was flooded with sewage water. The door codes did not work at first as well. A bad experience.
Sep 10, 2024 · Keith BromfieldWe loved the 2 bedroom apartment and will definitely stay here again!! Great location, plenty of space for families, comfy beds, fully stocked kitchen WITH washing machine and dryer. Being able to get home after a tiring trip and long drive without having to worry about loads of laundry to do was just the cherry on top of a perfect stay. Absolutely loved our stay with Roami @ Motorworks!!
