Jun 13, 2025 · Regina BuntingWe had a very nice experience at Lafayette. Our room was clean & the toiletries provided in the bathroom were really nice. I have read some reviews regarding the lighting and personally I didn’t have an issue with the lighting. The bathroom was well lit and the room had wall sconces, a desk lamp and a floor lamp plus many windows. The balcony was cute. The person and the desk was so nice and very helpful! Would stay again.
Jun 03, 2025 · Deb MThis was an absolutely wonderful wonderful stay and experience overall. The hotel is beautiful with Southern charm and modern amenities. Mezzanine level with restrooms and ice machine is a nice touch as well. Extremely convenient location about a 15 minute walk to the French Quarter, original you can take the trolley that stops right in front of the hotel. Close enough to the action, but far enough to get away from it. Also a couple blocks away from a full grocery store so you can stock up on trip essentials without paying tourist prices. 24 hour staff were super nice and extremely helpful as well. Overall I cannot say enough good things about the Lafayette and highly recommend it if you are staying in the area.
May 22, 2025 · Marin StarrIt was my first time in New Orleans. The process from booking directly with Kasa, check in, check out was all easy. The room was nice and comfy. The location is great, street car ride away from anything from the garden district all the way to Bourbon st. Check out the street cars to get around and all the front desk staff was wonderful. We got in way before check in time and left way after check out time. The luggage hold is one of the biggest reasons I picked this location.
Jun 09, 2025 · Laura BoernerFantastic location. Quiet street. Short walk from the WWII Museum which was the primary purpose of our visit. Very friendly staff - they have a person on the front desk even thought it functions more like an AirBnB with check-in and coded locks. They will store your bags but we paid for an early check-in so we could change into cooler clothes. No closet to hang clothes but had a small refrigerator and a coffee maker stocked with pods. Additionally the bathrooms had soap, shampoo and conditioner on the wall. Would definitely stay there again.
