Made appointments for 4 for Mother's Day brunch. Awful!! A fair variety of food on the Buffet but several items were cold. Not just warmed to room temp but cold like they had come out of the cooler. Roast beef was very under cooked and cool. Salad bar was empty. $55 per adult and $28 for a child--5 1/2 yrs. old. $15.75 for a cocktail. Can't wait to never go back again. :-((

The environment of the Senator Inn & Spa offers a blend of accessibility and a sense of retreat. Located on Western Avenue, it enjoys a convenient position with easy access to major routes, including I-95, making it an accessible stop for travelers. Despite being on a main road, some reviews suggest a quiet atmosphere, depending on room location, indicating efforts to maintain guest comfort. The property itself features a traditional hotel aesthetic, though some rooms may be "dated" in their decor, as noted by a guest. However, the presence of a "serene garden" and mentions of a well-kept pool area imply a pleasant and potentially relaxing outdoor environment. The inn is designed to accommodate various needs, including a well-lit exterior and an area for walking dogs, suggesting a thoughtful approach to guest convenience and a welcoming atmosphere for pet owners (with applicable charges).

The services at Senator Inn & Spa are extensive, aiming to cater to both leisure and business travelers. Fundamental services include a 24-hour front desk, daily housekeeping, and free high-speed wireless internet access throughout the property. Guests can enjoy access to a health club featuring an indoor salt-water heated lap pool, a seasonal outdoor heated pool, hot tubs, a co-ed steam room, and saunas. A deluxe workout gym with cardio and strength training equipment is also available. The spa offers a wide array of services, including massages, facials, body wraps, nail care (manicures and pedicures), hair design, and waxing services. Spa packages are also available, often including access to the health spa facilities. Dining options are a significant part of the experience, with the on-site Cloud 9 Restaurant & Lounge serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with offerings like brick oven pizza and bar snacks. There is also an Oyster Bar Lounge for cocktails. Other convenient services include free parking, a business center, meeting and banquet facilities for events and weddings, and vending machines. Some rooms also offer amenities like fireplaces and Jacuzzi tubs, enhancing the luxury aspect of a stay. Pet-friendly rooms are available upon request, though charges may apply, and a refundable damage deposit is required at check-in.

Key features of the Senator Inn & Spa include its comprehensive wellness offerings and on-site dining. The full-service spa is a major draw, providing a range of treatments for relaxation and rejuvenation. The availability of both indoor and outdoor pools, along with hot tubs, saunas, and a steam room, provides ample opportunities for recreation and relaxation regardless of the weather. The Cloud 9 Restaurant, despite a mixed review regarding a specific Mother's Day brunch experience (which noted cold food and high prices for a specific event), generally aims for an "elevated dining experience with a focus on fresh, local ingredients," suggesting a commitment to quality in its regular service. Another notable feature is its strategic location. As one guest highlighted, it's "nice to be so close to the hospital" for family needs, and also "walking distance to restaurants, stores and Starbucks!" This convenient access to local amenities and healthcare facilities enhances its appeal for various types of travelers. Furthermore, the hotel offers a variety of room types, including "luxury hotel rooms and suites," some with special features like fireplaces and Jacuzzi amenities, catering to different preferences and budgets. The pleasant and helpful front desk staff and attentive bartenders are also noted as positive features, contributing to a welcoming guest experience.

From a promotional standpoint, the Senator Inn & Spa leverages its extensive amenities, particularly the spa and wellness facilities, as well as its on-site dining. It positions itself as a destination for relaxation and convenience in Augusta. The positive feedback about friendly staff, available amenities like fruit-infused water in the lobby, and the quality of items like French fries from the bar, serve as organic promotions for the guest experience. While the Mother's Day brunch review points to areas for improvement in event catering, the overall feedback on general hotel stays is more favorable, emphasizing cleanliness (for rooms and sheets), a comfortable stay, and the convenience of its location. For those searching "Hotels Near Of Me" in Augusta, the Senator Inn & Spa appeals to travelers seeking a comfortable and amenity-rich stay, whether for business, leisure, or family visits, offering a range of services from a relaxing spa day to convenient access to local attractions. My first time staying here and I had a great experience. The front desk staff is pleasant and helpful. When you walk in there’s fruit infused water and a great Keurig set up. The bartenders were attentive and accommodating. The French fries were amazing! Room was dated but had everything we needed and easily accessible. It was nice to be so close to the hospital for my sisters stay there. Also walking distance to restaurants, stores and Starbucks!

Room was very outdated. The layout of the entire hotel was also very confusing as it was a maze to get through. Bathroom was right in the middle of the room facing the beds and the light switch for the bathroom is on the outside wall. This was a huge issue when our son had to use the bathroom at 4am and we were all blinded. We put on the A/C but only heat came out. When we told the front desk they told us that if the temp is below 45 outside the A/C won't work so our room was 69 the whole time. Thankfully we brought a fan with us. We did use the pool and that was probably the nicest part.

Tried to plan a romantic weekend with my wife here. Had to make an emergency plan that included having a dog with us. Their website said "$50.00 non-refundable deposit" which is totally fair. I'm ready to pay the 50, and they say they don't have dog friendly rooms. I said I thought it was just a deposit. They say all their dog rooms are being renovated but I can have a regular ground floor room, I said that wasn't going to work because I reserved the largest suit. They refused to work with me besides canceling for free. Very disappointed. Walked over to the Hilton and got a very massive suit for less money and they welcomed our injured pup with open arms.

The spa was excellent, service was great, but the bed was the same age as the building and sagged worse than a hammock. To me the bed is an important part of a hotel. If I can't sleep, I'm not happy. This was addressed at checkout and we were told that a note would be made and have a nice day which was difficult while being sleep deprived and in pain...from the bed.
