Mar 18, 2025 · Sandeep VishwanathStayed one night as this hotel is fairly close to the cruise port and we prefer Marriott hotels. First time here. It was not what we expect from a Marriott. The room was nice and clean and had been updated with the exception of the bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was dated, incredibly dark, the tub didn’t drain well and the shower curtain was way too short just barely hitting the top of the tub causing water to run down all over the floor. I had also requested the sofa bed be made up ahead of time for our children but that was not done. I did it myself which wasn’t a huge deal but there were not enough blankets or pillows. I requested those twice and finally received them but the person delivering them didn’t even bother to knock on the door - he just opened it and walked in. It’s a good thing no one was changing!! Customer service was definitely lacking. Both people we dealt with seemed incredibly unhappy to be there. I don’t expect the moon but a hint of friendliness wouldn’t be too much to ask. The pool looked absolutely disgusting. Not cleaned, algae on the bottom and the water was stagnant. We did not allow our kids to use it. Finally, we knew what we were getting with the location and lack of restaurant in this hotel. However, if that is even remotely important to you, I would suggest finding somewhere else.

The 24-hour airport shuttle is fast and reliable, making travel easy and stress-free. There’s a visible security presence at night, which adds peace of mind, and the staff is professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Marriott should be proud of this property as it’s clearly managed by an outstanding GM and a team that truly cares. Everything from the rooms to the lobby is spotless. Highly recommend booking the Park and Fly package!

Apr 07, 2025 · Arlin MaharaniOur flight was canceled at the last minute due to an FAA flight control problem at the Newark airport. We chose the Spring Hill Suites as it was nearby and was cheap at $157 per night. The shuttles were supposed to be every 15 minutes, but we waited almost 45. By the time the shuttle arrived, there were lots of people waiting with us wondering how long it was going to be. The room was decent except for the air conditioner having a very high-pitched vibration, which woke me up each time it turned on at night. I had to get up and put a bit of weight on the frame to stop the noise. We had an early flight and needed to get the 4am shuttle, we showed up at 3:58am to the check out counter and watched the shuttle drive off early causing us to have to Uber to the terminal. On top of that there was only cold water in the hot water dispenser, and when I asked the front desk clerk about it he told me that he would get to it when he was done with what he was doing. I won't ever stay there again unless I have no other choice. Between the terrible food service and the poor front desk and shuttle service and the noisy air conditioner, it was not a very good experience.
