My second stay here and I will book again. I’ve stayed at Talta twice, both this winter season (2025). The lodge seems to be an old lodge fully renovated to accommodate those looking for the feel of a chic local hotel. The small hotel is warm and inviting, in my opinion they nailed the vibe. The views overlooking a creek out back gives you the feel of Vermont that you won’t get at the resorts. The sauna is the real deal! and not the luke warm commercial ones you get at most resorts, it’s great after a day on the slopes. Indoor pool isn’t fancy but it’s clean and perfect for some relaxation. The water pressure in the showers are incredible. There was a comedy show with several comedians in the downstairs lounge which was pretty cool and unexpected. Only a couple cons…Unfortunately the hot tub (which overlooks the creek out back) wasn’t working which was a disappointment but mechanical things break from time to time, it is what it is. The heater fan in my room was LOUD! Just a fair warning on that. I’ll definitely be staying here again next season. It’s great for a family or a friends trip.

Feb 15, 2025 · Lynn SommerioMy girlfriend and I had an excellent stay this weekend at Talta Lodge skiing Stowe. The hotel was in a great location for getting on the mountain/the bus, the rooms were clean, the facilities (outdoor hot tub, indoor pool, sauna, free boot heating room) were awesome. The light breakfast buffet and coffee was also perfect. The Staff was also really great and helpful. We did have an issue in our room the first night but once I told the hotel staff, they were on top of it immediately and it was fixed when we returned from skiing for the day. The hotel management also did the right thing when we reached out to them in remedying the situation, so I would definitely stay here next time I ski Stowe.
Jan 27, 2025 · Benjamin FrantzWe immensely enjoyed our stay at Talta Lodge! We loved the lounge and lobby areas to relax and work. The boot room with the boot dryer was wonderful to dry our ski things, especially after a rainy day! We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and sauna as well. My only suggestion is to add more hooks in the bathroom for towels, wet suits, etc. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
Mar 06, 2025 · Shelly RossTalta was a fabulous venue for our winter ski wedding home base. We rented the entire hotel for our weekend guests and hosted a welcome party and brunch in the common areas that are open and welcoming . Sarah and the Talta staff were incredible and worked with vendors to plan the event, The hotel is in a great location, rooms stylish comfortable. Great place for a low key stay around Stowe. Highly recommend
