Apr 16, 2025 · Baumer FamilyI had a great experience here and can't wait to bring back family & friends! My husband and I came for a 3 day visit and we loved everything from the friendly staff, to the fresh food, to the beer, hikes, history, gym, and hot tub. Shout out to Sean and Shane in the dining room, Suzanne at the BierHall, Bob the guide, Bob S in group sales, and all the other attentive staff. Even the housekeepers were friendly! There was lots to do, the entire resort was clean from top to bottom, and our rooms were newly renovated. If only the weather opoerated:) But there was so much to see and do, it didn't matter. Hurry up and stay here - you will be happy you did!
May 21, 2025 · Sandy BorowskyStaff at Trapp family lodge were great they really made you feel at home. The food that was served and the menu offered in general was well below par the Hskp department did not do a good enough job replacing shampoo and towels even after several requests. If you are paying over $300 per night you should have the food and service to back that up it can not just be about the location or history.
May 11, 2025 · N LeoWe did not stay in this resort. We went to see Sugar house and snowshoeing. You purchase Snowshoeing experience but they dont include snowshoes. Did you know you have to pay extra for the snowshoe for the snowshoeing experience? Its absurd. Plain crazy. Rip off. Seeing the sugar house and stories were great but, definitely not recommended. Especially they charge you snowshoe rental to walk on mud (snow was melted). They do have EV charging which was a plus.
Mar 28, 2025 · Tolga TohumcuBuyer beware - there’s lots of fine print. We booked the “All You Need is Love” package, which was SUPPOSED TO include chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne on arrival and one massage per adult. We didn’t get the strawberries and champagne. Come to found out, you have to book your own massages. The only massages are after our check out tomorrow. We, as guests, should not have to do the job of reserving things as a package. Beautiful lodge and Vermont is, as always, beautiful, but the experience was not worth the 6 hour drive. I can get a massage and champagne at home.
