Unassuming small hotel that hits all the right notes. Good location, clean rooms, decent beds with fresh, all cotton sheets (no pretend-luxury yucky reused bedspreads), quick check in and out. There's a parking lot across the street too. Rooms are small but not tiny (i.e. great for Manhattan), internet is decent and free. Friendly staff. I'll go back.

Nov 22, 2015 · Stephan StoecklIt's a real gem. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon during the July 4th weekend. It was hard to find a place that fit our budget in Manhattan and the Gem at Hudson Yards did just that. The room was small but the king bed was comfy and the room was clean. Shower pressure was great. The front desk clerk, Kristina, was super friendly and helpful. The subway is a 5 minute walk, but easily accessible. Times square and the highline were not a far walk. There was a large selection of channels on the TV (including showtime) and the internet worked fine (although not with safari on Mac). Overall, great place for the price. We would definitely stay there again.
Jul 05, 2014 · Becky McCauley RenchWhen I stayed here I got about 30 bed bug bites all over my arms and back and on my last day actually saw several of them in the sheets in the morning. A few days later I left a voicemail for the manager its been months and she never called me back. I searched online and found a review from six months before on the room next door stating they also had bed bugs. I'm blown away the manager didnt return my call. The bed bug bite takes several months to heal and itches. Dont stay at this place!

Nov 12, 2015 · Matt KlineAfter a couple stays, the hotel has consistent poor and not reliable wifi access.
