Very disappointing roof top bar. Had 4 mediocre overpriced drinks. To make things worst, they automatically charged a 20% tip for a party of 4!! If my fiend hadn’t noticed it, I was about to double tip! Why the automatic tip for a party of 4? Afterwards found a hardly visible sign around the corner at the end of the bar with a sign stating the automatic tip! Tips are supposed to be given based on your service and not by default!! Absolutely would NOT recommend this place.

Jun 06, 2025 · BobbyIncredibly disappointed that I chose this hotel for our wedding weekend. Our room had active, set rat traps?? I called down to say something and the front desk staff added insult to injury by lying about the problem. For nearly $500 dollars per night I can't even fathom it. The room was incredibly loud from what has to have been the boiler just behind the wall so every time I almost fell asleep it would come on and was so loud it shook the wall behind the bed. Our room came stocked with only one person worth of towels when we arrived despite specifically booking for our wedding. The rooms we actually were assigned were far less maintained than what we walked through on my tour when booking our room block. The suite my parents paid upwards of 700$ for was dark, kind of damp and the terrace had big dirty puddles on furniture. The plastic plant walls were peeling off and in need of repair. The lobby smelled of toilets when we arrived. We paid to have a rehearsal dinner on the roof and staff were rude to my guests in such strange ways. An example, one guest wanted to see the line items for her bill and she was asked "why there are only three drinks" and she was in fact over charged and needed the tab amended. Another man physically stopped my brother from joining our party for a while. There were an abundance of flies near the space our food was served and things at the breakfast space the next morning were caked in days worth of pollen. I would only tell people I don't like to stay here after this experience. The shining star was the daytime valet though, he was so kind helpful and attentive.

I was shocked to see how large the room was, especially for the area--I had a nice living area with a pull out couch and second tv. The mini bar sodas, coffee and chips are complementary. There is evening turndown service where they leave a bedside bottle of water--this was a nice touch in the day and age where daily room cleaning is becoming rare. My room was surprisingly quiet (5th floor). Both Tvs were smart with streaming access. Only slight hiccup was that my room was not ready on arrival shortly after 4pm, but the kind front desk gave me a breakfast voucher to apologize for the delay. This is a stark contrast from another nearby hotel that on my last stay bumped me to another location and didn't even give me a breakfast voucher.

Short story: Unless management has changed COMPLETELY, do not book an event here. Long story: They did a management change as I was working through our contract for our wedding reception here. 3 weeks out from our wedding (June 8 last year), I finally got them to solidify all details of the contract and did a full walk through with them. We paid for early setup, discussed the types of tables, when the food and open bar should be ready, utilizing Bluetooth speakers and having a microphone, and our “grand exit” up the stairs. Wedding day arrives, and when my now husband arrived to check on what should have been a fully setup area in order to drop off a few decor items, he walked into not a single thing being setup yet - there were people still eating in the area our reception was going to be. When he talked to the only manager that was there at the time - they said they were aware of the wedding but didn’t have staff available for setup. The groomsmen came back after the ceremony (during what was our cocktail hour) and had to work on setting up everything themselves. When we arrived with the rest of our guests, setup was still not fully done. The wrong tables were used and setup wrong compared to what was written in the contract, the open bar was still not setup, and the food station was not setup. There was also no Bluetooth speaker setup yet. We had to do our toasts and speeches without anyone even having a water yet. The full menu we paid for was never brought out (specifically the pasta type that I had requested). Then when we went to do our grand exit, which I had discussed with the head of the department at the time, they had locked the door for the exit. We had to get in a heated argument before they unlocked the door for our exit. To top it all off, the woman who was barely responsive during the contract process tried to call us as we were driving home after we had just left the reception…ON THE WEDDING NIGHT! I emailed them to reconcile and ask for a partial refund, as their on site staff that night told us to due to how much things were messed up. They called us as we were flying out for our honeymoon and I asked if we could email due to me wanting everything in writing. They responded at first acknowledging all of the things that were wrong and how the contract was not upheld, but then when it came time to discuss refunds…no response. I followed up several times with no response. Ghosted. So, now I will make sure that anyone looking to book an event there sees this first through reviews. Beware of booking there - the pictures and the videos still turn out cute, but you don’t want to have to get in multiple heated discussions on your wedding night regarding the failure to uphold a contract by the business.
Jun 05, 2025 · Brittany AndersonI’ll start with the only positive. It’s in a great location. Be sure to choose a room facing the road since the rear of the hotel faces a construction site (see pic). The negative. We stayed in room 207 as part of a wedding block. Why they gave a bride and groom this room is beyond me. Avoid this room at all costs. For one, we counted 5 rat traps under the furniture (see pic). We noticed this when I dropped an item and went to grab it only to see my hand was an inch away from triggering the trap. Second, the plumbing in the wall sounds like a freight train rolling by. The plumbing is in the wall behind the head board so you will not get more than 30min of sleep at a time. This is not “old building charm”. The doorman was great and was the only employee not openly complaining or arguing with other staff whenever we were in the lobby. This is a far cry from a 4-star hotel. Carpet stains, rat traps, and there is no breakfast in the hotel. Stay somewhere else and definitely don’t stay in room 207.
